Full marks to this place for their innovative idea and its implementation. Right from the entrance, to the waiters uniform to the seating arrangement to the cutlery, every item has been thought through and put forth just like how you would find in a jail. The ambience has several small cells resembling jail lockups and the tables are placed inside these cells for customers seating. Cutlery includes proper aluminum plates, just like how its shown in movies in a jail. Definitely a fun and unique experience. As for the food, each dish we ordered was well cooked and mouth watering. Food was top-notch and didn't disappoint a bit. Service is quick and prompt, the waiters (in their jail uniforms) are ever attentive and respond efficiently to all your requests. Overall its a fantastic place full of unique experiences and tasty food. Definite recommendation from my side for a fun and unique experience along with some tasty food.

The North Indian thali is a must-try, offering a generous spread with authentic taste and spice levels just right. Their mocktails and desserts are the perfect finish to the meal. Service is prompt, polite, and attentive. The staff make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of throughout. Whether you're going with friends or family, Central Jail Restaurant delivers both on theme and taste. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try something different and delicious in the city!

I would say an amazing experience from the staffs costume as police and prisoners, ambience themed jail the seating is also inside a cell and the plates they serve are also just like in jail. I had ordered roti, paneer butter masala and veg fried rice all were soo tasty wondering why I did not visit this place earlier. Do visit you would love this place.

Interesting concept with quirky interiors and polite staff. Paneer Khilona was something new and tasty, and their Roti Basket was super satisfying. Great place for a chill evening with friends and good food!

It is waste of booking through Zomato, restaurant people don't entertain it. They don't reserve the seats like other restaurants. I had booked for 6 people but they gave us 4 people seat and we adjusted with 6. Restaurant people said we don't get the booking details but when I personally checked their system it was showing.

The service was very slow and poor could be because of festival and a large group present..food was served late ..breads cold glass was not given ...overall bad experience.

Ordered Prawns Garlic Butter Froed rice, the prawns was rotten & it was smelling bad. food taste is not all good
