i tried this restaurant may be after a decade. I ordered Afghani roll as suggested by the chef/person sitting in cash counter. Unfortunately quality and taste of food has deteriorated a lot. They did not get the basics of roll stuffing. in roll chicken should be well cooked, it should not ozze out water. Roll is a very basic street food. When someone is charging 300 rupees ( you can get decent biriyani even in Bangalore in that price!!!) as a customer you expect extra zing and 'umami'ness in the roll.

What they serve is not kathi roll which has been synonymous with some of the iconic food joints in Kolkata.. A well made kolkata kathi roll should be made with 1. A fluffy paratha known as Lachcha Paratha in kolkata with a tinge of sweetness to it.. 2. It should never contain mint or pudina chutney. 3. The layer of egg should blend with the paratha. Chakum Chakum fails on all these count. At best what they serve is a dietician's version of roll which burns a big hole on your pocket. Dont do injustice to Kolkata Kathi Roll!!

Had ordered Kasundi chicken roll, as that wasn’t available I took Afghani roll. The roll was dry and tasteless. Had to request for a sauce separately. Even then the roll was not as good how it used to be earlier. I understand they charge considerably more than it’d be nice if the taste resonates the high charge.

Horrible service. We asked for Tawa aloo roll (priced at 90).. During billing they said they don’t have tawa aloo so automatically upgraded tht to Tandoori aloo (priced at 150) So I am not sure what I ate , but I had to pay 150 un wantedly So this was purely a scam run here..

Their logo reads legacy. They make the worst rolls unhealthy. They should rename to Legacy in making pure maida pathetic rolls. Sauces are filled with cornflour no actual flavour and feels like you’re stuffing some real bland and rotten food inside your mouth

Never fails to disappoint me .. ordered an egg roll which turned out not to be Hot at all.. and during the discussion they agreed that was not made immediately and was some orders leftover which was not picked .

I ordered kasundi paneer roll, which was tasteless, overpriced and too dry from inside. Paneer was average with over powering mustard oil flavours. Over all pathetic tasteless experience.

Their quality has detoritated over time. Also, walked out of their current store as they have started serving beef. Avoid this place

Quantity of chicken even in double chicken roll was really less. Expensive and the taste is not worth it.
