I had heard about this restaurant from a friend and had seen multiple outlets around Bangalore. Since I was staying at my friend's place near the ecoworld outlet I decided to give it a try. Looking at the prices in the menu, the pictures and the ratings I had really high hopes with this place. But I was left utterly disappointed. We ordered mullet wine, spaghetti carbonara, parmesan chicken and spaghetti in pesto sauce. The food was warm and not hot. The chicken was soggy and I could not taste any parmesan on the chicken. What disappointed me the most was the carbonara. I was expecting a thick creamy egg yolk based carbonara, instead what I got was basic white sauce spaghetti which was completely dry sprinkled with bacon and no parmesan topping as mentioned in the description. The mulled wine was Ok but could be better. When you charge premium money, you can't go wrong with the quality and authenticity of food. On top of all this, our fine dining experience was completely spoiled by a loud group of Uber employees out to celebrate a colleague's birthday seated right next to us. All in all, I would skip visiting Chianti a second time and would not recommend the place too.
