One of the best dosas in Bangalore is available at our own Chikkanna Tiffin room:) Originally located in Cubbonpet, it finally opened its doors to the people near our area in Kumara Park a few years back and it has been everyone’s favourite:) The Coffee is outstanding and the Kaali dosa is excellent combo with the mini masala :) One just can’t afford to miss this place :)

Bisi bisi dose. Tell me a better breakfast option and I'll wait . In love with this place and the food . The dose here is what defines Bangalore and it's love for authentic crispy dose with filter coffee . Light on the pocket. Yet heavy on your stomach. This place dwells in the street of Malleswaram and is no doubt one of the best for authentic dose and idli with some filter coffee to go by !!!!

Its an all time great place for dosa , idly , rice . I have been CTR follower from its cubbonpet days . Khali dosa & mini masala dosa are the best ,

This outlet of Chikkanna Tiffin Room is located in KumarPark west near Seshardipuram Composite & Law college and it is having a branch in City Market. This is one of the oldest Dosa points in around Bangalore still existing. Best place to hang out for Dose lovers. Chikkanna Tiffin Room have options like Rice Bath, Dosa and Idly items. They have an option to stand inside, outside of the restaurant and there is no sitting arrangements available in the restaurant. I have tried Mini Benne Masla Dosa, Coffee, Uddina Vada, Idly here and the taste of the Dosa is very authentic to Chikkanna, it was crispy and it is served with a combination of Gatty Chutney, Tomato Chutney and one can expect Uddina Vada is too soft and crispy enough to eat. Overall,  Food- 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 3.5/5 Value for money - 3.5/5 Overall Rating - 4

A very famous place from 1965. All the limited items on their menu are all very good. Kaali, Masale and pudi Masale Dose must try totally loaded with Ghee. But pricing is little bit expensive. Also as it's a very old place it's small and mostly crowded all the time It's better to go early in the morning when they open. We tried... Pudi Idly, Kali Dosa, Bath Masala Dosa, Mini Masala Dosa.

One amazing place to have dose and idly in sheshadri puram. This is the Branch of chikkanna in cubbonpet. Taste is very similar to that.. there hot piping idli with sagu chutney and ghee is best.. lemon rice was ok. There dose is the best as always.. and hot strong coffee with milk froth on top is just u need to finish here...

This place can be counted for best ghee masala dosa serving hotel in Bangalore. Darshini type food joint. Located near to seshadripuram College. It has a branch at chickpete.

Not fit for even a star they're thieves, robbers. Just giving an ordinary style breakfast and charging very high pricing. Rs. 37 is for khali dosa or any other Dosa but it's excluding the ghee for just 2TEA SPOONS of ghee he charges a hefty amount of Rs. 20 and one single small idly is Rs. 13 and for ghee Rs. 20. So 1 plate dosa becomes 37+20=57Rs and a single idly with ghee becomes 13+20=33Rs. The largest golmaal lootmaal fellow this chikanna tiffin room is. You'll will go to dogs one day charging such a large amount for just a small meal. HVR and other hotels, dharshinis everyone charge 35-40Rs for 1 plate dosa and Rs. 10/ SINGLE IDLY which comes to Rs. 50 but this fellow is charging Rs. 90. See the difference people there is not at all nearby comparison to the rates. Scoundrels these chikanna tiffin room owners are. Good for nothing rascals!

Had food poisoning 😫 after eating puri rice dosa .. pls use right oil/ghee. Not happy with the quality of food
