Chinita- A place serving some real authentic Mexican Food located near Indiranagar BDA Complex, Bangalore. Located on the 1st floor, this pretty well planned establishment with lot of greenery & can easily accommodate around 30-35 pax at full capacity and easily gets fillled up. Reservations preferred although not mandatory. The Service is real quick and the Servers go the extra mile in keeping the patrons happy. Well trained and groomed staff. The Chef here whips up the dishes with great ease & passion- emphasising on all 3 important parameters: Taste, Quality and Presentation . Quantity is sufficient for the price they charge. Each plate can be easily shared by 2 people. Some of the Dishes tried on the menu- • Enchiladas • ⁠Grilled Corn • ⁠Chinita Salad • ⁠Grilled Chicken Tacos( Soft) • ⁠Pambazo with Grilled Chicken The Drink Menu tried- • ⁠Almond Horchata • ⁠Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate Order anything of the above and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Parking is sort of a challenge with limited 2 wheeler parking space and Cars to be parked inside the BDA complex or Bylanes. No Valet Parking. Just 8 mins walk from Indiranagar metro station. Cute and small place, visited on sunday - crowd was okay we got a place in the inner room. We have multiple veg and non veg options for each items. We tried 1. Nachos with chicken 5/5, I loved it 2. Quesadilla - soyrizo 5/5 nothing to complain on this, it was soft and spicy (not much) 3. Grilled Corn 3/5 - it was little difficult for me to eat Coming to drinks We tried Virgin margarita (Pineapple flavor) and Tamarind Margarita - both were very nice for someone who like tangy taste Dessert 🤌🏻 The chocolate chilli cake with ice cream 10/5 It’s must try one just soo good Churros was also good (they give total of 8 sticks) but felt heavy 4/5 Note: They do include service charges but we can ask to remove if you are not okay to pay

Amazing flavours! Amazing textures. They have a full vegan menu and that means so much! The churros at the end were such a treat!

After a not so great experience two years ago, I had completely stopped going to Chinita but I’m so glad I gave it another shot! This time around, everything was amazing: - We tried their soft shell tacos, absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and perfectly done. - Their new mango drink was incredibly refreshing. Safe to say, Chinita is definitely back on my favorites list.

Appetisers were very good. Main course can be improved. Tacos and Enchiladas were fine. Burritos were soggy and Burrito bowl did not have any Mexican flavour.

Compared to how it was a few years ago I must say the quality of the food has gone down drastically. Dishes ordered: • Quesadilla Chicken : Good. 3/5 • Tacos : Chicken Tinga : Average 2/5 • Burrito bowl - Beef : 2/5 . The quantity is excellent. Meat pieces were hardly there. I literally had 8-9 small pieces in the entire dish but a lot of capsicum. Definitely disappointed with the overall taste and quality. When you pay Rs 500, one expects the dish to be slightly worth the money not waste of money. • Churros : 2/5. I had loved the Churros 2 years ago. But today they were extremely sweet and not at all good. • Drinks : Tamarind Margarita and Aqua Frescoa Watermelon. : Both were good. The watermelon drink was excellent. Tamarind Margarita wasn't upto my palatte but it wasn't bad. It's a personal choice. Parking: No valet when I went for a Sunday dinner. But there's enough street parking around the restaurant. Service: Excellent. Every staff member was courteous and nice. Washroom: BAD state. Even though I saw the cleaning roaster attached on the door, the washroom was hardly clean. I have attached a picture of the exhaust fan which looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years. It was covered with dust. Cost : Pricy. I wouldn't have said this in my last visit 2 years ago. But today the entire experience was average. Not worth the price I paid. If you wanna go for the hype, then you can or else it's definitely not worth the money anymore. I really hope Chinita doesn't become one of those eateries which start with amazing concept , attain success, expand its business and then looses it's charm and original value.

Well the good things were the ambience, the music and the pulled pork taco However not worth the hype. For a Mexican place the flavours were not there and it was not spicy even though we requested spicy. The salsa and the veg burrito was avg and the burrito has 3 corn chips which was a disappointment. Also sad truth these days is piece of water bottles where a Rs. 20 Bisleri bottle is priced at Rs. 85. So all in all avg experience and a high price

Serving Unreal Mexican food in the name of Real Mexican. Tbh both Veg Nachos and Mushroom tacos were subpar in taste. Guacamole provided was very less I mean just a little bowl for that. Nachos were topped with lots of Rajma ( that too tasted like rajma curry which ruins the purpose of tacos) I heard they are a famous joint in BLR but folks a regular pub in your city serves better nachos this is not a good Mexican👎
