One of our long time favourites for Indian Chinese food! Fried Rice in Chung Wah, Residency Road is some of the best we have had pan India. Hunan and Kung Pao chicken are also made well. Double fried mutton is worth trying

Loved the dishes we ordered. Especially the starters. The ambience is beautiful and the location is accessible as well, Great for a peaceful meal.

The restaurant is conveniently located near the main MG Road, within walking distance from the metro station. Initially, the ambiance seemed pleasant, but the experience quickly deteriorated. Ambiance and Service: Shortly after we were seated, we noticed water leaking from the air conditioning unit. Additionally, the waiter appeared to be in a hurry to close the restaurant. Despite it being late, he took our order without informing us about the closing time, which resulted in a subpar dining experience. Food: Lemon Coriander Soup: Lacked any discernible lemon flavor, which was disappointing. Wanton Soup: This was the only highlight of our meal, with good flavor. Crispy Honey Chilli Chicken: Not crispy at all, falling short of expectations. Chung Wah Fried Rice: Quite good, with a nice hint of Thai flavor. Schezwan Chicken Noodles: Missing chicken entirely. When we addressed this with the waiter, Sarmaan, he responded rudely and took the dish away, leaving those who ordered it hungry. Customer Service: When we provided feedback at the reception, the staff member was very rude and indifferent to our concerns, showing no interest in addressing the issues. Overall, despite its promising location and initial ambiance, the restaurant's poor service and inconsistent food quality made for a disappointing experience.

Fried momos were basically normal momos sauteed and when asked why it was made that way they told us that it was just the way they made it...Zero for customer service quality is sad

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Firstly was served the wrong order twice, waited for a long time to get the attention of the waiter who took our order because the server refused to exchange it himself both times. Despite these mistakes there was not a single apology, we were forced to wait so much after our meal to gain the attention of somebody to come give us the bill, which at last we had to get ourselves because no matter how much we tried they refused to look towards us like as if we didn’t exist. To top the poor service and hospitality was the equally terrible food. The spring roll was drenched in oil and filled with cabbage with barely any meat, the roast pork tasted foul with bad stench and fried rice nothing close to what it used to be. Despite having confronted them politely we did not even receive a word of apology but was in fact completely ignored. No accountability, no respect, no basic human decency. Rethink before you set out to ruin your evenin

I would give a negative review if I had the option. We had come in for lunch after ordering we asked the manager Ganesh for hot water as I was under the weather. He said we don't have hot water by which we assumed he meant we buy the Bisleri bottle and only then they heat it and give. He took the bottle dumped it into the microwave the plastic Bisleri bottle, not heated it in a pot onto a glass!! Wen we questioned him he said this is the only way we do it nothing will happen heating a plastic bottle in microwave. I'm shocked being in F&B industry following health and safety guidelines how can he be so idiotic!! Then he proceeded to rudely ask us to cancel our order... such pathetic... unprofessional service.. in Chung Wah we have been coming for years this is unacceptable.

This used to be an Iconic place during the 90’s where i used to be regular but i visited today 17.05.26 after a very long time and i am terribly disappointed about the quality of food, portion and with horrible service!!! Looks like they are not bothered about the customers and customer satisfaction because they give a damn for everything as if they are doing charity by serving food to their customers!!! Nobody bothers to take order, serve water, serve food once it reaches the table, ask if anything else one needs, give bill and come and collect payment!!! Sorry state of affairs and i am very sad to day this to an iconic place which was my favourite since the 90’s till date only!!!!

So they forgot to prepare food for us. We ordered food to the manager himself, and he forgot to relay that to the kitchen. We sat for almost 40 mins and someone asked us to pay the bill and leave, keeping us aghast with their careless behaviour and attitude. No decency, no professional behaviour whatsoever. Don't go here !
