Taste is really good of everything, the star of the show is amazing desserts but the options for vegetarian main course could be better

We visited Citrus on Friday and overall had a great experience. We wanted to have appam and stew which is part of their breakfast menu, and the staff and chef accommodated our request. Truely appreciated. The stew was slightly on the saltier side (perhaps due to the smaller portion), and while we’ve had better elsewhere, it was still enjoyable. Overall service was good, and members of the team were warm and attentive There were, however, a couple of areas where the experience could have been smoother. We initially requested to sit outside but were informed it would take 5–10 minutes to set up the table, even though it appeared ready. We agreed to wait, but there was no follow-up. Additionally, it was a little difficult to communicate our order at one point. At The Leela, one naturally expects a consistently high level of polish and attentiveness. With a bit more consistency across the team, the experience would be a few notches higher. That said, we were happy with the overall experience 😊

Ambience was great, Food was not so great, As per your app it was Rs 4000. per two, but when we landed they Saud Rs 3600+GST which was shocking, Added to that, No Chats , No Juices, No Ice Cream even after paying so much, surprisingly they charged extra for Water as well ,lastly the items available for Vegeterians apart from Buffet was only 10 odd items as compared to Non Vegeterians

The food was not up to the mark. The menu was very limited with less non-veg items. Ice cream was not available

Service was bad. We were not looked after. Had to constantly wait and look for a steward to place an order, request something, ask for bill. We were completely left on our own. We went for the service. Was disappointed

Worst experience Worst service for a 5 star hotel Worst food, we ordered pasta it was so bad and the guy just gave an excuse that its a type of pasta which is undercooked He got it thrice once pink twice white sauce all was bad i have never had such bad quality of pasta in my life I was so excited to go here but the vegetarian options were so limited Only thing was variety in dessert which by that time became too sweet for me so i couldnt eat all of them Mocktails were nice But hospitality was extremely poor They made us sit in a sunny area outside when it is so hot without any cooler or anything I kept asking for a table in the shade but they kept denying even though i could see some tables were vacant.

I've been to Citrus more than 10-15 times for Sunday brunch, New Year, valentine's day, Easter special lunch. Everytime it used to be a great experience, from food to service. But this time it was a pathetic one, food was completely tasteless, service was tooo slowww. There was never ever a time we wanted to repeat any of the items.

Terrible food with the capacity to render your palette depressed for days. One of the worst food any restaurant can serve. The food felt like it was reject waste of previous day. Please consider going to Marriott or Hilton for better food and ambience at similar price range instead of wasting money here.
