I have been gorging in corner house ice creams since time immemorial! Decades actually! Love everything about this brand, have so many memories of gorging their iconic DBC, caramel pudding, trilogy, peach melba and many many more sundaes and ice creams! You can never really go wrong with corner house! Food - This time I ordered the dew drop sundae (vanilla ice cream with cream topped with loads of crunchy cashews - absolute decadent! ) Ambience- The Lavelle Road outlet shared the location with the legendary airlines hotel, Sreeraj lassi bar. Open and airy seating capacity. Customer service - Prompt and great Value for money- Absolutely worth every penny!

If you are in bengaluru its a ritual to have icecream at corner house..its like old school ice cream parlour and there is all magic in their hot chocolate sauce only! Your visit is incomplete in bengaluru if you have not visited here!

The chocolate mint ice cream was quite different from what I expected. But all in all, it was quite good! Ambience could be improved a bit, maybe a little more aesthetic.

When it comes to taste, this place is heaven for icecreams.. Have always loved ice creams at corner house. Speacial mention to chocolate mint fudge.

Some places are an emotion for the city, over a period of time, their signature dishes resonate with the entire city and become sy onymous with the brand. Corner house became one of them, over a period of four decades... But that position does not allow the brand to take their customer lightly, ignore feedback, turn rude..arrogant and aggressive at any point of time. The vanilla at corner house has always been the second best the city could offer for me after lakeview.... And yesterday was a shocker... The vanilla wasn't even 1/10th in taste, flavor or texture at all. And this resonated across.a group of eight people who went there with us. The vanilla scoop was as different as chalk and cheese in real terms. Then came the fruits in fruit jackpot.. 90 percent of the fruits were canned. Stewed in sugar and added to the ice cream... This turned into a double let down, when we order a fruit based ice cream and in a legendary place such as corner house the least one would proceed xpect is fresh fruits... Not to miss the jelly, which was an add on which came like a close up toothpaste kind of consistency, tasted like mixed fruit jam and when raised with the management, the sad response was... We use " vegetarian" jelly... This is how it will be... Take it or leave it. And before one could respond, they were quick enough to throw it in the dustbin😀 Corner house has never been known for service or humility... But when a brand hits such levels of arrogance, it signals the beginning of a fearsome decline... Such that the brand isn't even ready to correct it food. The food which made them what they are today. Ironically, got to taste the worst vanilla ice cream in Bengaluru yesterday at their Airlines branch and just hoping they pull up their socks.

My friends faced the most horrible experience at this Corner House branch. They faced several RACISM from the shop cashier and local goons whose actions were fully SUPPORTED by the cashier. They bought our ice cream and paid for the services. And then they were sitting on the swing. They were asked to get up. They did without protest. But they just walked up to the cashier to say that they should not be asked to get up just like that. The next thing we know, people came and started asking where they are from and saying that they are not allowed to be there and they are not Kannadigas and they do not speak Kannada. They were two people surrounded by FIFTY. They were MANHANDLED AND VERBALLY ABUSED. My friends have come home with the shirt button RIPPED OFF. And while ALL of this was happening right in the compound of the shop, the staff actually asked them to LEAVE, saying, "they are our regular customers, you please leave." The staff SUPPORTED this racism and ABUSE. Big warning to anyone who is not a Kannadiga. NEVER go here. You will be verbally and physically abused, manhandled, and asked to leave. We will be filing an official police complaint.

I love the ice creams and desserts at Corner House. But i am writing this review with a poor rating due to the pathetic customer service I encountered at this Lavelle Road location inside Airlines hotel. The cashier who was taking the order was very rude. My friend and I were patiently waiting in line as there were many customers. When it came to our turn he bills the order of a lady who cut the queue. When we complained why he did not take out order he brushed our concerns. In the mean time the person who was with this lady starts acting smart by falsely accusing us that we had pushed him when we were in the queue. The cashier washed his hands of this issue although he was the main cause of it. Corner House your products may be good but poor, rude and unethical customer service can ruin your business in the long term. Either you pay attention to customer service or your future is doomed.

Ordered a dry fruit sundae - The staff put two butterscotch scoops, threw some badam nuts on it and served it with a couple of drops of some syrup. All of it was over in much less than a minute, with no passion for service. It was a canteen attitude. Sundae (Rs 200) is creatively made with combinational ingredients rather than two simple scoops of ice cream (Rs 80). What a sheer waste of time and money. I strongly suggest you to be not complacent and learn from your competitors such as Cream Stone.

The staff and all people in that complex are very racist. When i raised concern regarding their service, they asked me to leave. He called localites and said you're not a localite, so just leave, even if you call police they wont help you. Very very racist staff and localites, especially in a place like MG Road.
