The taste as well as the texture is different. They are crisp and yet have a soft, light texture! 🔸They are prepared over Wood fire and not in regular gas! 🔸 Davangere is a city in central Karnataka. 🔸Benne translates to Butter in Kannada language. Since a good amount of fresh butter is used these dosas are called benne dosa or butter dosa! 🔸The dosa is served with mashed potato and spicy coconut chutney, which is quite different! 🔸The aloogadde palya or potato palya is simple without haldi/turmeric and it will be having a bland taste without any spices. However, the coconut chutney will be very spicy. A fan of dose & Stay nearby Jayanagar? Then, what are you waiting for & visit this place! A small yet hygienic place where they prepare good Benne dose Davanagere style in a wood-fire method. They also serve thatte idly here which is very soft. However, the main hero is dose for sure. I've posted a video on my instagram page (@insta.raj) regarding the same.

A new-ish hole in the wall that only makes a few items, but makes them perfectly! Authentic Davengere dosa with impeccable chutneys. I recommend dining in and not getting delivery, i don't think the dosas will travel well.

They deserve the 5 star rating for their quality and the good service. All their items are excellent and worth trying. They only serve idli in the mornings, hope they start serving it in the evenings too!

My hunt for a good benne dose in south Bangalore ends here. Must try the benne dose! It’s delicious ❤️ The coffee is surprisingly very good.
