My Wife and I visited on 16th August 2024 at 8 PM for a dinner on the occasion of my Wife's Birthday. I read positive reviews about the restaurant and so, I decided to bring my wife here and I did not make any wrong decision. I am highly satisfied. ! To start off, I am really Thankful to them for holding the table for more than an hour, as I was late due to the traffic. We liked the ambience; it was kind of royal. Coming to the food, we ordered Kakori Kebab for starter which was their signature dish. For the main course we ordered Nihari and another chicken dish (the name I am not able to recollect) along with Tandoori roti. For the dessert, my wife had Kulfi and I opted for Phirni. To be honest food were delicious and sure to satisfy your taste buds. They did take some time to serve, but I think they might be preparing the dishes only after an order is placed, which they serve fresh and hot and is worth waiting for. I enjoyed their Hospitality as well. My bad ! that I did not notice the name of the lady who was hosting us. She was nice and calm. She ensured that our experience was the best and guided us with different dishes that we can go for. Thank You so much for your kindness and patience. The best part was yet to come, which was they surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake for my wife. I am really Thankful and appreciate their gesture. Though, we were full and had to pack it. This is my brief experience and if I would have to rate them, then according to us, they deserve full marks that is 100/100. Thanks Team !

Dum Pukht nestled within the opulent ITC Windsor...a true culinary jewel, offers an extraordinary dining experience that feels nothing short of regal. From the moment you step in, the opulent interiors with intricate decor, mood lighting, and elegant table settings set the tone for a luxurious meal that evokes the grandeur of a palace. The menu is as impressive as the setting, with a wide range of dishes, including some truly unique offerings. Every bite was a testament to the finesse of Indian cuisine, but the kebabs & curries in particular, stood out as unforgettable highlights. The quality and flavour of the food were exceptional, truly living up to the luxury of its surroundings. The hospitality was impeccable throughout. Mr Penchalaiah, the Manager went out of his way to ensure everything was in order. I highly recommend Dum Pukht for any special occasion as this restaurant delivers an unparalleled luxury dining experience.

One of the best restaurants serve Awadhi Foods with same traditional taste which we would get in Lucknow and Agra . Try the Dal Bukhara which is their main in house food and other food such as pomegranate chatt. Heaven for non veg lovers .

Food and Service is really amazing. The attention to detail in the both the food and service made it exceptional. Dudhiya Kabab & Shahi Tukra are the highlights!

may be I don't understand awadhi or lucknowi food but this is my review for the various dishes: beetroot kebab - average, sweet at the centre and not enough taste mutton seekh kebab - below average, this has a sweet taste which we never experienced anywhere else, may be we don't understand the cuisine dum aloo - good and tasty dal dum phukt - arhar can also have taste but this was tasteless Breads - there are no regular naans or rotis available, they are selling some other version which were not familiar with hence we did not like it

This meal will go down as one of the most disappointing meals i have eaten in a while . I requested for any low calorie chicken preparation which was without cardamom and was told that all marinades and gravies had it . I am completely put off by the taste and smell of cardamom so refused . They offered to make chicken tikka but said it will take a lot of time and also be very dry . Then i asked about fish and there was a grilled fish starter that they offered and i accepted . The fish served was completely overcooked , dry and tasteless. At INR 2000 plus taxes for a dish it was something i had to politely choke down with a lot of water and even adding lime did nothing for the dryness and taste. Since i was with guests i could not really raise a fuss . It was very disappointing that a restaurant the calibre of Dum Pukht could not accomodate a guests meal preference and also what they finally served up. I was staying in the hotel as an in house guest and the breakfast options as well as what i ordered in room service was all excellent. However this meal was an epic fail

Very poor service, the staff has no knowledge about offers running on zomato with thier restaurant. When I was trying to pay the bill on zomato, the person was arguing saying the discount is not applicable, when clearly it was showing on the app. We had a back and forth argument for over 15mins on paying the bill. Please train your restaurant staff and keep them informed about the deals running with zomato. Also they took thier sweet time to even assist us to our table. Very understaffed.

This place especially the staff ( Mukhiya) was extremely ill behaved and inefficient in managing bookings. They accept bookings via zomato and Google but when you reach the hotel they ( seems shady) decline the booking via Google and say they support only zomato or eazy diner. Then when also booked via zomato they decline the same. Not worth spoiling your evening for below average food.

It used to be excellent years back. Our latest experience was rather disappointing. It has lost its royal charm. You no longer feel it’s fine dining. Food tasted subpar and Service was average.
