​My first visit to Gabru di Chaap had a clear split: the food was amazing, but everything else failed. ​The taste was excellent. The flavors were sharp, well-mixed, and the chaap itself was perfectly cooked., it was truly satisfying to eat. ​However, the experience fell apart because of the portion size. For the price they charge, the food was simply too little. It felt like a sample, not a full meal. This lack of quantity made the meal feel like a complete waste of money. The poor value completely ruined what the good taste had created. ​In short: Fantastic taste, but absolutely tiny portions ​Will I return? No.

Ordered Afgaani Chaap with a Rumali Roti, the quantity was very little as compared to the price paid (around ₹305). The chaap itself was prepared good, as it was soft but the gravy was tasting funny, it had a very sour taste and was leaving a coating of garam masala in the mouth after every bite. Also the sitting area is just in front of the kitchen, for some reason the kitchen door was open all the time while I was there and I was continuously inhaling smoke with my food. Overall it was a bad experience with below average food which doesn’t justify the cost at all.
