Setting of the place feels like a small shack or a dhaba you'll find in Maharashtra. The crispy perfectly seasoned Aloo Vada and the soft pav, matches the Mumbai's famous Vada Pav. But, Where's the Pudina and imly chutney? That's really missing. Without the chutney it's very dry to eat. (I use the pickle on the side to add some moisture) The groundnut chutney they serve alongside doesn't match with the Vada pav vibe. Please add the two chutneys and it'll be just wow. Misal, unlike the misal I've tasted in Pune and Kolhapur, misses out on the tangy taste and the Farsan. I believe if they change the farsan served alongside it'll just elevate the taste multi-folds. P.S.: They serve other Maharastrian Food products on the side, all my maharashtrian friends, ज़रा जाऊन बगा! Waited 15 mins for this… and honestly, totally worth it 🔥👀 Tried Gavran Misal and the place was packed, which already says a lot. Had misal pav, vada pav and solkadh, everything had that proper zanzanit kick and full-on authentic Maharashtrian flavour ❤️ If you enjoy spicy food, this spot is definitely worth the wait 👍

Ordered a Missal Pav and Vada Pav. Missal bhaji was comparatively bland and Vada Pav was decent.

There's a whole lot of hype surrounding this restaurant, that obviously coaxed me into visiting it. Gavran Misal is supposedly known to be the best Maharashtrian restaurant in the city! So, I went here with really high expectations. We ordered Kat Vada, Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Sol Kadi and Butter Milk. The service was prompt, but the food was well.. quite average.. Misal Pav was good.. but not quite like what you get in Bombay and other Maharashtrian cities. I didn't find it too spicy, despite adding the spicy sauce to it. There was no spicy green chutney with the Vada Pav! Although, the Batata Vada was delightful. It's a decent restaurant, but I wouldn't call it the best..

We have been visiting this place from past 1.5 years (we travel 9 kms for the misal) . But what we witnessed yesterday was terrible. As it’s open kitchen we can easily see their kitchen and behind the scenes. No cleanliness at all in the kitchen. Dustbin was kept open in the middle of the kitchen. Floor was extremely dirty. Kitchen slab seems like not cleaned in ages. Hand wash and washroom area yuck, after seeing you don’t feel like washing hands. Place got popular, Uncle is nice but ignoring these important things like cleanliness and hygiene that too in food industry are serious concerns. Seriously, we regretted our decision yesterday of having lunch in such an unhygienic and dirty place.

very very limited menu. I went there with lots of expectations. It's not a restaurant but a fast food cafe. They seriously need to consider adding more options on their menu. Mahastrian menu , but literally they do not have anything else apart from Misal Pav and Bada Pav. not even Tea/ Coffee. I was disappointed with the menu selections . overall food is average and quite oily

Probably the most bland watered down misal I've had in my life. It completely ruined my palate.. Never going back And the hygiene was quite questionable given the restroom was 5 feet away from the kitchen and stench carried throughout the small reataurant

The Misal I had was an absolute disaster – it was bland, tasteless, and the lack of spiciness was a major letdown. I'm thoroughly unimpressed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
