Worth every bit of the hype. Fresh, hot food served with precision and every single thing tasted delicious. Loved the old school ambience, loved the sequence they followed and how every single dish had its own flavour and everything was served so fresh. We also got a bunch of things packed, their pudi thatte idli was yum, mangalore bun was great too. A must must visit when in Bengaluru.

Had the famous mango meals here 23 dishes were amazing. the place is always full the rates are great for the quality and quantity the mango rasam sambhar and holige was amazing the mango chutney also was great the aamras puri dosa and chitranna was also good highly recommended

Banana leaf meals, Karnataka special was very delicious and I liked the sweets served. Obattu, akki rotti, majjige huli were exceptionally very tasty. everything was special. I enjoyed it .

Only 1 person picks up the tab to serve people for the ella oota. The service is extremely delayed and the server is only polite to get some tips. Proof being - the server uses a 50 rupee note while keeping the saunf bowl during the end of the meal, indicating he wants a tip. He did this to EVERY single table. The issue is not wanting to give a tip but the service was so poor that the place nor the server is worthy of it. Avoid and find another place to have your lunch! :)

What they can’t control, the open sewage right outside the restaurant that has the smell seeping in. What they can control but didn’t: Waitstaff who were distracted with thier own conversation and piling on food on the plantain leaf. Diversifying the menu so dishes complement one another and it’s not just a Mango Meal for the sake of it. Won’t be coming here again.

Over hyped. Staff has attitude issues. Thatte Idli not good. Podi Thatte idly was surprisingly unavailable. Vada is better than average.

I visited this restaurant after hearing a lot of hype, expecting authentic food and great service. However, the experience was quite disappointing. To begin with, even basic necessities like water for washing hands were not provided. When we asked, the staff told us to use drinking water instead. When it came to food, we initially wanted to order Mangalore buns and holige, but neither was available. We then ordered naan and mushroom masala, but both lacked flavor. The onions and lemon served on the side were also far from fresh. Next, we tried the paneer noodles, the paneer pieces were the size of mustard seeds. They did not provide us with glasses for drinking water, the overall service was unprofessional. The staff seemed disinterested, as if they just wanted us to finish quickly and leave. Overall, the visit did not live up to expectations.

Open Sewage outside the restaurant affected our entire experience We didn’t relish the food at all as the odour of the drainage was so strong They should consider shutting the place down until the drainage work right outside the restaurant is fully done!!! Countless flies on our leaves as we are eating, once can’t stop wondering if it’s from the same drainage, so unsanitary!

Slow service, if it's crowded they themself provide bills so the seated customer can go away with unfinished food so they can accommodate more customers.
