This the best dose hotel in bangalore you can say! Has its roots from the first HVR in hassan & is extremely famous for it's doses. Benne khali, masale dose, set dose are so so yummy that you can't stop at just one. They've à limited yet scrumptious menu containing the doses, a different variety of rice items every day of the week. Mondays are tomato baths, Tuesdays are pulavs, Wednesdays are lemon rice, Fridays are ghee rice. The order might change. The vada is extra crispy & one of the finest available in bangalore. The idlys are super soft & go amazingly well with their coconut chutney. They also have a spicy red chutney which has a unique taste with endless blend of spices. The best part is unlike other hotels, HVR doesn't use soda in it's food, hence the taste & the food is easily gobbled to the fullest extent possible. There is no seating space but this food is any day worth the wait & standing. A must visit if you've not visited. They do have mind blowing filter coffee to complete the meal.

Famous on the highway of Hassan. Seriously the best dosa point around Seshadripuram. The pic says it all. Always crowded place, yet the worth. Their benne Khali is the of all(pic) a few years down the line, definitely a legendary place to be marked. Pocket friendly restaurant. Their vada is also a great addition and the chutney they provide is seriously great. Keep up the work HVR. Cheers.

If you are a morning person, then pls visit this place as the number of people In the hotel would be less in number before 8 am. After 8 am people will start flocking in. Loved the food and the service. Tried their famous rice bath (mild in flavors) which was delicious. The butter open masale dosey and Thatte idli vade were too good. Would love to visit again.

Always crowded, stand by eatery. Tried few of there famous Dose's. Always go with extra butter you will love it.palav was super with chutney. Vada was okay okay. Try there mini Masala with extra butter and open Masala both these were awesome.

What an underrated gem of a place. The food was delicious, especially their idlis. So soft! The chutneys were good too. Loved the overall Sunday breakfast vibe there. Yum yum in my tum tum!

A not-so-talked about thindi haunt in Bangalore, HVR Veg, run by natives of Hassan, offers the usual breakfast fair at very cheap rates! The benne khaali dosa is the highlight here - the buttery flavour is a sure melt in your mouth. The masala dosa was not spicy as expected but decent nevertheless. The Vada was excellent: crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The idlies were soft too! A great spot for breakfast and value for money food!

Rating: Taste: 4.5/5 Ambience: 3.5/5 (okay for a breakfast place) Value for money: 4.5/5 A must try place for breakfast. Yummiest Benne masala dosa, Crispiest Vada (best) and tasty Thatte idli. Masala idli was ok ok.

I had one of the best benne masala Dosa here at HVR. Totally loved it. It was made really well!! The vada was amazing, super crispy and delicious. The idlys were great too. Filter coffee at the end was fab!

Can get quite packed and chaotic while you wait for your idli/dosas. Not a very chilled out peaceful Breakfast experience. However the idli vada was great and the benne masala was decent too. But would any day pick Chikkanna Tiffin Room which is 5 min away from this place. Worth a visit though.
