We ordered one Maharaja thali and one Yuvraj thali. Starters were really good. Food was also good. Service was great. Desserts also tasted good. Overall it was great experience. Only suggestion i have from menu standpoint that there should be a small menu also, because with the Maharaja thali or even the Yuvraj thali, some people do not have a lot of appetite so a lot of food gets wasted. There should be some other options as well apart from these three set menus with lesser variety.

The food was delicious specially daal jamavar and lentil soup. The staff was very polite and specially Saurabh took great care of us. The vibe was very good and ambience was awesome. It was a great dining experience.

Amazing indian food and ambience. We had the yuvraj and maharani thali which covers almost the best dishes from the menu. The staff were warm and courteous.

Visited Jamavar with my wife and tried the Maharaja and Maharani Thali. Unfortunately, the food taste was below average. The service was also disappointing. I asked for a Diet Coke, but it was never served, and there was no follow-up from the staff either. For the price and positioning, both the food and service could have been much better.

A Disappointing Experience at The Leela Palace – Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Unacceptable Dining at a place like The Leela Palace comes with high expectations, both in terms of food quality and ambience. Unfortunately, our experience was a complete disappointment and fell far short of what one would expect from a luxury hotel. The most concerning issue was the food. Several items, particularly the chicken and mutton balls and fish fingers, had a rotten smell, which was deeply unpleasant and raised serious concerns about food freshness and quality. Apart from the garlic naan, chicken curry, and a few desserts, most of the other dishes were extremely disappointing. At these prices, food quality should be exceptional, not something that leaves customers questioning whether it is even fresh. To make matters worse, we were charged approximately ₹24,000 for six people—a premium price that should guarantee an outstanding dining experience. Instead, we were accommodated in what felt like a corridor outside the main dining area, with no air conditioning and an ambience completely unworthy of a luxury establishment. The setting was uncomfortable and certainly not what anyone paying such a hefty bill would expect. Luxury is not merely about a prestigious name or an expensive bill. It is about food safety, service, comfort, and an experience that justifies the price. Unfortunately, this visit delivered very little of that. It is particularly frustrating when a restaurant charges premium prices but fails to meet even basic expectations of food quality and dining comfort. A few acceptable dishes and desserts cannot compensate for such an overwhelmingly poor experience. My advice to prospective diners: Think twice before spending your hard-earned money here. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this dining outlet unless there are meaningful improvements in food quality, dining arrangements, and overall standards. A luxury name creates high expectations. Sadly, our experience proved that an expensive bill does not necessarily buy a luxurious experience.
