Amazing. It’s a small place. Quaint. Not that great setup wise. But the hospitality and the food is outstanding. Ofcourse, it’s a core Karnatak restaurant. Hence they specialise in South Dishes. And Trust Me, they are amazing..

Food is very good.. Especially north indian thali.. Lots of variety. The entrance is narrow, but dont be fooled by that. Interior is spacious.. Waiter was courteous and prompt

A childhood favourite (90's kids will know) me and my family's favourite restaurant. I still remember the time I used to wait for paneer manchurian and paneer fried rice to devour it. Absolute favorite 😋 not to forget kulcha, malai methi matar and stuffed capsicum chinese.. yummmm. Haven't been to the restaurant in a long time but used to get home delivery. Only let down is, the maintenance. Hope they are doing it well.

This place reminds me of my frequent visits along with my grand father. The place is quite old and the seating is just ok. Paid Parking is available. The food is simple. Their South Indian delicacies are good. They serve North Indian as well which are just ok. The best things you can eat here are following: 1. Sweet corn vegetable soup 2. Masala papad 3. Hakka noodles veg 4. Bonda n chutney 5. Rava dosa 6. Badam halwa Overall, it's a place I would want to visit again for the memories n the simple food.

Not a place you ll out looking, but if you are already around, great place for meals. After hunting some electronics spares at near by shops we came here for lunch. Warm and filling food got our energy level back.

My friends say that it's not Kamat anymore but "Kha maat" due to the bad taste and horrible service. This is a popular hangout spot for those who come to the BBMP head office or the Unity building for work. There's plent of parking avaialble in the compound. I have had a few terrible experiences here over the past few weeks. First of all you have to beg with them to give you a soap to wash your hands. a good ten minutes later, they cut a small piece of Lifebuoy soap & give it to you! The other thing which sucks here is the way the waiters serve you the rotis. One of them kept on picking up the rotis from the plate on which he had bough them from the kitchen and putting them onto my plate. A few minutes ago, he had used the same hands to collect the money from a customer at an adjacent table. On this last ever visit of mine to this place, we decided to try out the A/C room. We wanted to have a thali for dinner, but they only have a'la carte option at night. So we had a tandoori roti & butter naan with kadai paneer. The quantity & flavour of the kadai paneer was good. The roti's were pretty big in size & were great on taste. But what came as a spoiler was the waiter dropping the rotis onto our plate without us asking him for his aid. For the kadai paneer & the breads a 3.5* is fine. To beat the heat, we had a fresh lime soda which was quite refreshing, so 4* for that. The decor is still struck in the 80's & there's nothing great about it either. 3* for that. Service 0* for having to beg for a soap & for "manhandling" our rotis with their bear hands. VFM would be a 3.5*. Yes, I will be back here to eat. But definitely not in the AC section & certainly no rotis for me. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On a previous visit a few days ago for breafast, I had an ildi-vada combo with sambhar & chutney. The idli was fluffy, the vada super crunchy & they both tasted good with the chutney & sambhar. Will give it a 3.5*. I also had a dahi vada too & this was also pretty good in terms of taste & freshness. 3.5* for that too.  The service was fast. Will give it a 4*. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++On a previous visit, I had stopped over at their non a/c section for some dahi-vada & onion pakodas. The dahi vada was very refreshing & the pakodas were crispy.
