This is one of our go to places, especially with family. Love the Chola Bhatura. Do not understand so many negative reviews!! We have been going here for quite a few years. HSR is one of the best locations of Kapoor's Cafe. We also went to Jayanagar however didn't like it too much.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, food was okay but there is a major hygiene problem due to presence of so many pigeons. We sat at balcony side thinking if will be good experience, fresh air but twice pigeons attacked the plate while we were eating, staff didn't even help to shoo away or do anything about it. Pigeons were flying above our table releasing small feathers which went into our food. Saw pigeon shit on couple of empty corner table. Pigeons are carrier of many diseases and are literally called "Flying rats". It's a major hygiene concern and owner must look into it. Due to this experience we left in 20 minutes, couldn't eat the food after such experience had to leave the remaining food. Management was told the same but they didn't bother to do anything about it, they were just in rush to close because it was already 3.55 PM. Please don't take such cleanliness and hygiene matters related to rodents lightly.

The food was stale and had a spoiled smell coming from it — I can guarantee that. Dishes like Dal Tadka tasted spoiled, as if they had been stored in the fridge for a long time instead of being freshly prepared. I also ordered Palak Corn, and it was a big disappointment — the gravy was watery, green in color, with corn just added to it, and nowhere close to the standard taste or texture I’ve ever had before. Service also needs major improvement. We had to call the staff multiple times just to get plates and to have the table cleaned. On top of that, the music was extremely loud, making it uncomfortable, especially for families with kids. Overall, this place may suit bachelors looking for a casual hangout, but it’s definitely not suitable for families

Touting it self as punjabi restaurant, is not really authentic punjabi. All the breads they are serving from lacchha prantha to kulcha all of them are made on tawa. They don’t have tandoor at all. The experience was not good as I ordered laccha prantha which turn out to be tawa prantha. I would not recommend it someone who wants to experience true authentic Punjabi dishes.

lift was not working and i went upto 4 floor by stairs and by 3.50 pm they denied the entry though food was being ordered and served at that time ... disastrous experience

pathetic service and food here and unnecessary they charge extra I taken only paneer paratha they charged for pyaaz paneer I will not suggest anyone to go there

Worst dining experience in Bangalore. There I ordered 5 dishes, and the taste was worst. I will not recommend anyone to go there.

Mediocre food. Unnecessarily spicy. Not a comfortable ambiance. Terrible choice of songs. Uncomfortable volume.
