Based on two examples I can now claim that If a chat Shop in Bangalore has Karnataka in it's name, their Bhel Puri will be excellent (Karnataka Bhel House in Chamrajpet being the other example). This shop is in a small gully near Majestic/ Chickpet, and has items ranging from chats to pav bhaji to vadapav to tawa palav. I had the Bhel Puri, with extra masale poured on top as is the practice in Bangalore. The trick is to have it quickly enough so that the spice hits but before the bhel gets soggy. Correct amount of taste & crunch. There is a good sizeable crowd, and there is seating. Street cart level good attention and taste is given to the food preparation. Must visit.
