“Their Sunday chole bhature is totally worth the hype! Place was super crowded and I had to wait around 15 mins, but the food was amazing. Chole was so flavourful and bhature perfectly soft. Also loved their butterscotch rasmalai 😍 They have a huge variety of pure ghee & kaju sweets, plus namkeen too. Great for gifting as well!”

Loved the food here! The Chole Bhature was too good and the Butterscotch Rasmalai was a unique and tasty surprise. They also serve fresh pure ghee sweets and chaats. A must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic flavours.

Went there thrice. Rasmalai, kala jamun and moti choor laddus are the best there can be. Better than kanti’s. Mysore pak was also good. Rasgulla was average and sweetness was on higher side. Yet to try their chats.

This is one place where I can’t put a date as to when I visited it and tried out stuff. I’ve known this from their days at CMH road decades ago, where it was just a sweet shop, then introduced chaats and my gang of friends and I used to go and eat there so frequently. They kept shifting, CMH road, then closer to the BDA complex and back to CMH again, but mostly stayed in Indiranagar and very close to my house. I’m not much into sweets, but if I DO indulge, it’s usually at this place. Mostly Jamun and coconut burfi which are good. The chaats are a different matter though. When they were in CMH road in the earliest days, there were times when my daily snack was at Kartik’s. They’ve seen me from when I was a kid. Papdi chaat and tikkis being my all favorite. However, as they shifted and hands changed so did the taste of the chaat. Off late, I’m not that keen on the gravy that goes into the chaat..too much masala and doesn’t have the fresh flavors or the unique taste of the gravy that normally goes into masala puri. It has definitely lost its original taste and I wish they’d do something to bring that back like how it was when I was a kid. There was a different person preparing chaat then. So now I eat chaat at Kartik’s only when I’m really hungry and no other option when I’m on that side. However, now that the place is all spruced up and soft lights, (I like this look)they’ve taken to stocking other snacks. Hot spicy samosas have always been the best here…but I so love their mini burgers, puffs, pizzas and kachori’s which I regularly indulge in guilt free for it feels like it is made at home without the artificial flavors and portions are small too. I also buy their paneer on and off. Fresh n soft. Sometimes I declare some days as pani puri days and buy their puri’s in a packet and make it at home. Really worth it! Most of the time, I’ve had takeaways so can’t comment much about service. The owner is always courteous though and ensures I get what I want without issues. Overall, in Indiranagar, this is one of my most frequented go to place for snacks and long may it last! Overall rating: 4/5 Ratings for reviews: 1 – No! No! No! 2- Just about average. 3 –Good. Can give it a try. 4- Great!! 5 – Yes! Yes! Yes! And I’ll tell all about it. Details: Address: 322, Shalini Complex, CMH Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore. Contact: 080 41264166 Timings: 9am – 10pm

Kartik's Mithai is oldest Chole Bhature eatary in Bengaluru. They have variety of North Indian chaats and sweets but they are famous for chole bhature. The Chole Bhature are just amazing. The bhature are fluffy, very less oily, actually you won't feel oil on your hand and not heavy too. The chole had spice levels, and the chole were cooked perfectly. One must not miss masala aloo served along with chole, it goes very well with chole and doesn't overpower the taste. *Note*- It is served Only on Sundays and one must pre-order it on Saturday using their website as they make in smalll quantity

One of the best places in town to have Chole Bhature. Place is neat and hygienic. Bhatures were perfect. Masala Aloo is something which actually adds Masala to the plate. Chole was satisfactory..

The ONLY best Chole bhature in bangalore. The negative thing is they serve 9-11 am on sunday. Yes thats it... So you have to book it a day in advance

This review is more about their service and hospitality, than their food. On Sundays, they serve Chole Bhature at their outlet, which to be fair is really one of the better ones in Indiranagar. They keep an online booking system where you have to book your plate(s) in advance and they do not serve walk-ins without a booking. While I've booked and eaten plenty of times, there have been a couple of times where I've walked in without a booking. True to their policy, they've said 'No'. Which I think is fair, to avoid food wastage. The problem I have is the way the 'No' is said. It's said quite dismissively and has felt disrespectful. On my last visit, I had a guest with me and it felt almost embarrassing as the 'No' was so blunt and gruff. A word of advice for the management: it would be warmer to say instead with a smile, "Sorry, but we're only servicing booked plates". You can also add "If you're hungry, we also have other things you can try". At food outlets, it's not just food that needs to be warm - warm service also goes a long way. As a customer, I don't mind leaving without eating anything but I do mind leaving with a bad taste.

So, it started off by someone recommending this as the best place for chaats. Obviously I had to go with Pani Puri(soggy) which were okay and then tried the Sev Puri which was more like masala Puri. The reason for the low rating other than the quality of the food was that it put me through few traumatic incidents which eroded my bathroom and my nose. I would now never recommend this to anyone but my enemies.
