In Kolkata Kim Lee would qualify as a 4 star, but in Bangalore this is as close as you'll get to Tangra Chinese. The food is great, but it's not stunning. The prawns were good but they missed out on seasoning the batter well. The chilli chicken was actually really good! Both the soup and the pork were fine but lacked a little salt. The service by Subhash was excellent, he's very friendly and looks like a seasoned pro. The seating is a little packed, but any Chinese restaurant worth their salt will be hard to sit down in. A bit pricey - 1600 for 2 drinks, 1 soup, 1 starter, 2 sides, and 1 noodles. Extremely cost effective if you're thinking about the amount of food I had!

Kim lee is a name which will remind you of old school Calcutta style Chinese food. The decor or the food, everything is filled with nostalgia. Double fried chili chicken & mixed fried rice are brilliantly made. Still salivating at the thought of it. Hot garlic fish was decent & went well with the rice. Pricing is reasonable and service is quite prompt. Lovely experience it was.

Kim Lee is one of those few places in Bangalore that serve mouthwatering indo Chinese food like it was meant to be. Their starters specially the chicken satay and chef made special momo sauce with momos was amazing. Definitely give it a try!

A cozy restaurant in Rajajinagar. Have been eating here since the past 20+ years. This has been mine and my family’s favourite Chinese place. Love the food!

A very small place, but make no mistake, lip smacking Chinese cuisine served at reasonable price. Ambience isn't much to brag about but a decent dine in place. Service takes 10-15 mins after placing the order. If there's crowd the waiting time might extend. Waiters are approachable, could get better in terms of professionalism. Food needs an outstanding appreciation. It's one of the best Chinese restaurants. We ordered, 1. Veg manchow soup - the traditional manchow soup is brown in colour whereas this was very light. A good amount of veggies was cooked well into the soup. 2. Chicken clear soup - loved this soup. The consistency was perfect with scrumptious flavours and chunks of chicken. 3. Veg spring rolls - a very good appetizer for vegetarians. The roll was crisp outside. 4. Chicken steamed wontons - a type of Chinese dumpling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. my most favourite dish of all. To be relished with the sauces they provide (chilli vinegar, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce). The skin is so thin and the stuffing is too yummy to be true. Could finish the entire plate by myself. 5. Chicken fried rice- a very flavourful rice cooked with chicken tenders. Again, enjoy this with the sauces for out of the world experience. Pricing is way too affordable for the quality and quantity of food served. The authenticity is remarkable. One of my favourite places. You must visit to know what you're missing out on!! Food -5/5 Ambience- 3/5 Service- 3.5/5 Value for money- 5/5

Among the oldest Indo-Chinese spots in Bengaluru, run by the third generation of Hakka Chinese immigrants - Kim Lee has been around for 30 odd years and I'm sure it will still thrive. The place has the classic "red" aesthetic you'd find in spots serving Chinese but with only a few tables (possibly they do well with many takeaway and delivery orders) Coming to the food - it sure as hell hits home! Tried the double fried chilli chicken (so so good!), the mix triple schezwan rice (mix of meats, extremely comforting), with the black pepper chicken (an appetiser but we requested semi gravy) Overall, each dish was just perfect in quantity, and a good amount of comforting. Not on the greasier side, works just about great!

Nice cosy place. I ordered for mixed fired rice , double fried chilli chicken ( quantity was small) , momos, wonton soup and Schwann noodles. I really liked all of them. Especially the fried rice. Unfortunately there was nothing available in lamb.
