This is an underrated place. We’d been here for Sunday breakfast and had ordered typical South Indian dishes. The sambhar is yumm and not sweet! Everything that we’d ordered was exceptional. This restaurant is not going to disappoint you, must visit breakfast spot in town!

Food(4/5): We had noodles, baby corn Manchuri,Pav Bhaji, Masala Dosa and Tea. The quantity was good and the taste as well. The taste of Masala Dosa has gone down compared to the last time when we visited. Service and Ambience(4/5): The service was good and the ambience is decent. There are a lot of people available and they get the things you need and serve well.

Konark is quite old vegetarian restaurants serving South Indian, North Indian and Indian Chinese food. Though being old it definitely is living up to the new age ambience and hospitality. The quality of food is definitely very good and taste as well is delicious. The prices are on higher side but lives up to the expectation being on a prime location

One of the places that has stood the test of time - good (but nothing extraordinary), and keeping it real for the 40 years of its existence in town. For a simple, no frills yet hygienic vegetarian fare, there are only a very few places that do it well!

Service was excellent………..but both the starters ( gobi manchurian&mushroom pepper) were below average…for Main course we had hariyali kofta&veg kolapuri both were….good ….roti was excellent……Again…..service was excellent…….

Being a vegetarian, I loved the food at Konark. But there is something more important: The behaviour of people. The person taking orders is an extremely uncultured and unwelcoming man. He does not even have manners worth a single penny. I would go to Konark only if everything else is shut in Bangalore and that's totally because the management needs to train/replace the staff who are impolite and spoil the customer's day.

If you come to this place make sure you dont read the menu as everything is not available as per the timings mentiond on the menu.If you would like to have the Maddhur vada please visit Maddhur and if you want to eat Mysore masala dosa please do visit mysore .The staff knows more about the menu than the captains.The sev puri is like a bowl of salad it has cucumbers ,tomatoes ,onions im not sure why it is under the chaat menu.Very friendly staff but rude captains.The staff need to be given the positions of the captains as they have more knowledge the captains dont deserve their postion.

Never ever visit this place. They loot money right from parking. The charge for each foil, container if we ask to parcel the items. When questioned, manager was so ignorant. Food was full of flavours and preservatives. You'll not be able to have a complete meal, yet feel full. Service is worst. Parking guys are so rude and they charge 50rs even if you dine in for 10 min. This place has lost it's value. Will not suggest visiting this place.

I have been coming here for years. But today I was shocked to see a HAIR in my food . I ordered a Navratana Kurma and Peas Pulao. In the Navratana Kurma apart from the various vegetables and fruits , today i was served with a strand of hair. I am deeply hurt by the conduct of the chef here. I will think again before visiting Konark on Residency Road again.
