Went to Kuuraku today. Even though we reached at 6:30 pm, the place was nearly full. Although we did not have any reservations, they accommodated us. Service was prompt and courteous. Our waiter made good recommendations. The creamy avocado roll was one of the best I have had. We enjoyed the sake recommended. And my husband said that his Iekei ramen was one of best he has ever had. I am a vegetarian. And this place has some good veg options. We are going there every week!

We had an awesome time at Kuuraku! And it was the service and food which made it special. Everyone has Kuuraku wants you to have great time and it seems they are also having great time running the place. We came out very happy Do try Sake there Do try the chicken skewers Do try the ramen

Kuuraku is one of the better places for Japanese cuisine in Bangalore, especially if you enjoy a wide variety of starters. They have an extensive starter menu, and that’s definitely their strongest point. I personally loved the Chicken Spring Roll Sushi (5/5) and Kuuraku Yaki (chicken starter) (5/5) — both were really flavourful and well done. The Spicy Chicken Roll Sushi (5/5) was another highlight. For the mains, I tried the Miso Butter Ramen, which I’d rate around 3.5/5. It was decent, but having tried ramen at other places, I feel this could be improved. Overall, the ramen options didn’t stand out as much as the starters. Here’s a quick rating of everything I tried: • Kuuraku Yaki – 4/5 • Kuuraku Signature Ramen (Pork) – 2/5 (Not the best) • Butabara – 3/5 • Mushroom Cheese – 3.5/5 (not very flavourful) • Spicy Chicken Roll Sushi – 5/5 (Damn good) • Teppan Gyoza – 2/5 • Tori no Karaage – 3/5 (chicken option is 2/5, octopus 3/5) • Miso Butter Ramen – 2/5 • Dorayaki (Dessert) – 2/5 (Not likeable) • Stamina Don – 3/5 • Yuzu Passion Spritz – 3/5 • Sweet Line Beer – 3/5 Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a good Japanese dining experience, especially for their starters.

Visited Kuuraku recently and had a good experience overall. The food was fairly average, but a few dishes really stood out — I especially enjoyed their sushis, teriyaki chicken, and Annin tofu, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The ambience is cozy and warm, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were polite, attentive, and helpful throughout, which definitely added to the experience. A good place to visit if you’re in the mood for a calm dining atmosphere and a few standout Japanese dishes.

The vibe is spot on, it’s catching. But the food is very average. The noodles in the ramen are the worst i have had in recent times. Per the taste and portion size, it felt extremely overpriced. Its a one time visit only.

The food quality has deteriorated a lot surprisingly and the service which was slow but enthusiastic is now slower and uninformed. We had to seek the people who knew the menu. They did not even have normal glasses to serve water. This was our last visit.

This review focusses on the service at the Kuuraku restaurant in Forum Rex Walk Mall at MG Road. While the food was as delicious as always, the service was utterly disappointing. I visited the Kuuraku yesterday and noticed that the servers seemed disinterested and unmotivated. Despite the food arriving promptly, it took them an excessive five starters to bring me a glass of water. I can’t help but wonder if they were overworked or perhaps experiencing a lack of motivation. The entire atmosphere, from taking orders to serving the food, was unpleasant. On the other hand, I had a fantastic experience at the Kuuraku in Whitefield. The servers and wait staff there were incredibly pleasant and attentive. The entire experience at the Whitefield outlet was outstanding, and I’ve already written a separate review about it. In contrast, the Forum Rex Walk mall outlet left me feeling unimpressed and I wouldn’t recommend it for a second visit.

Overhyped. Food's not good at all. All pork items are worthless, overcooked and overpriced for the quality.
