The ambience is very cozy and good. Perfect if you want to spend some quality time with your friends. Perfect for rainy evenings. We ordered momos and tried a new dish which was amazing. Definitely my go to place now.

We had been planning to visit Lama’s Cafe for a while, and today we finally made it. Conveniently located right across from NIFT college, it’s a popular hangout spot for students. The cafe specializes in Himalayan cuisine, with a focus on Tibetan dishes. The ambience is lovely, with beautiful interiors and soft music that creates a cozy atmosphere. We tried a few items from the menu and found them enjoyable, though there’s some room for improvement. Here's what we ordered along with our ratings: 1. Fried Chicken Momo - 3.5/5 2. Chicken Gyathuk - 4/5 The momos tasted good, but unfortunately, they were fried in overused oil, leaving black residue on the surface. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the Gyathuk, though we felt it could use a bit more flavor. The service was excellent, and overall, we had a pleasant experience

I've been here twice. And it's 16 kms away from where I stay. And I don't usually write zomato reviews. That should make it obvious how much I like this place. What drew me here was my search for Taipo, which I get easily in every corner of Shillong, but is rather hard to come by here. The Taipo was really good, as was the mokthuk. What I really loved was the momo, along with the chutney and the soup which really is a huge factor in deciding how the momo tastes. I didn't see a lot of crowd here (on both my visits), which I think is a shame, because it's a really nice food joint.

Emadatshi was very nice. Chilli can be more. Tingmo was not good. Bamboo rice was also very tasty.

The place used to be one of our favorites and go to place for Chinese in blr. But they have drastically dropped the food quality. They serve stale and old momos which one could easily identify by the taste. The manchurian was also a few days old and was re-fried a couple of times which gave it a very hard and crunchy exterior. Not going to go back to this place.

We ordered three veg items and they gave us chicken pieces in two of them. Both of us are vegetarian and then they tried to give excuses that it was just few small pieces instead of saying sorry. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Today We ordered Veg Thukpa Soup from Lama’s Cafe, and the soup had a cockroach in it. I was immediately disgusted and have decided to file a complaint with FSSAI
