Breakfast scenes at Lavonne can be a ritual. The vibes are cozy, stylish and easy on your eyes. We started with the avocado toast which had fresh ingredients, yes, but flavor-wise it played it a little too safe. The Lavonne French Benedict, though, was the real main character. The choux pastry was beautifully flaky, the egg was cooked just right (basically everything you want when you order something that sounds fancy). The tender coconut water cooler was super refreshing. It was light, fresh, and exactly what you need to feel like you have made a healthy life choice (even if you have not). We wrapped things up with a butter croissant which was rich, flaky, crisp and a blueberry cheesecake, which was nice, but not exactly life-changing. Let’s just say, I have been more emotionally moved by cheesecakes before. Overall, I would go back. Not everything hit the mark, but there is enough creativity and freshness on the menu to make it worth another shot.

We are regular visitors here for Sunday breakfast almost every weekend, and we absolutely love the food. However, our experience last Sunday evening was quite disappointing. There was a waiting time of around 10 minutes, and a staff member noted down our name and contact details, assuring us that we would receive a call once the table was ready. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes without any update, we went inside to check and noticed that the same staff member was now busy serving food. Meanwhile, several people who had arrived after us were already seated and enjoying their meals. When we asked about our table, he casually mentioned that no tables had been vacated since then, which was clearly not true. Despite this poor handling, we still remained patient because we genuinely enjoy the food here. Unfortunately, the service experience continued to disappoint. The person who came to take our order seemed completely unfamiliar with the menu. I asked for the Jalapeño Fondue Berliner and Barbecue Feta Danish, but he had absolutely no idea what dishes I was referring to. Instead, he responded with an odd smile, almost as if I didn’t know the menu myself. When I asked if he was new, he mentioned that he had been working with Levonne for the past 8 months. That was surprising, considering he seemed entirely unaware of some of the signature items on the menu. The food here is genuinely excellent, which is why we keep coming back, but the service this time was very disappointing and needs improvement.

I’ve been going to Lavonne for years and while I like the place and the coffee, I started going when I was non vegetarian and now I’m vegan/vegetarian. There are literally two vegetarian options on the menu and their bakery items all have egg. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, you can go and enjoy the avocado toast only so many times but beyond that there is no consideration on the menu for veg folks.

Portion sizes are good. Avocado toast could have a bit more flavor. Crossanwich are good, but again they are really big in size. Overall justifies the pricing. Place is very pretty and comfortable.

Absolutely pathetic food, we ordered 2 avocado toasts and iced mocha, my wife got food poisioning, she got severe stomachache and she had to vomit the food out.she was sick for almost a whole day.

The worst experience. We were asked to pay even before our food arrives. The waiter just mentioned if you wanna sit outside you need to pay first and then you’re allowed to sit.

Horrible place - tried Lemon Tart and Mango Coconut Tart. Both disappointing. Post complaining, found out they were prepared about >2 days earlier. I will not be visiting again
