⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been visiting MDP Coffee House for over 3 years now, and it’s always a delightful experience. The food is consistently fresh, tasty, and absolutely value for money. The service is warm and prompt, and it truly feels like a neighbourhood gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort food with great taste!

MDP Coffee House is a nice little cafe serving fresh vegetarian dishes like idli, dosa, podi dosa, filter coffee, tea, pongal and varieties of rice like lemon rice and puliyogare. The vibe of this place is better than a regular udupi place with a modern seating arrangement but the food quality is exceptionally good. They have the best sambar I have had in Bangalore and I have had dosa/idli and sambar at at least 50+ cafes, udupis, and restaurants. The prices are decent, service is quick and the place is clean so overall it makes a nice, quiet place to enjoy breakfast once in a while, when you are not looking to stand in a queue in a darshini place. Cost for two - 150-200/- What we tried - Filter coffee - Good blend of coffee, strong and hits the right spot. Ghee Podi Masala Dosa - The open dosa was good and the sambar was one of the best, quite similar to the sambar I have had in tamil nadu. It was not sweet, had tangy notes which is just the way I like it. A good spot for breakfast and filter coffee in HSR layout.

My tastebuds are still dancing as I write this review remembering the festival that was the “jaggery coffee”. A clean and bright establishment serving affordable South Indian dishes as well as tea time and tiffin foods. The lunch menu has different options on offer every day ranging from Vangibaath to neer dosa. The Special Thali for 65 bucks is a hearty and flavourful affair. A must try item on the menu that deserves a special mention is the Maddur vada. In my opinion, the breakfast disappoints but the lunch, coffee and tiffin menu steals the show.

A QSR with around 5-6 tables which serves good coffee and South Indian breakfast dishes. Most of the breakfast dishes were good but the vada was undercooked & puri was slightly oily. Team has to fix these small things which will help them go the distance.

The store is visually appealing and we had to stop in to try something. The ambience is pleasant with soothing lighting and comfortable seating. Being a coffee fan, coffee it was. We had the special served in a brass glass. The coffee was ok.. I would've liked it stronger. There are a variety of snacks and food options available for a meal but we didn't try either as we were on our way to dinner. But I've got to give it another shot later.
