In my hunt for finding authentic Tamil food outside home, we ended up here at Naachiyars which has been on our list forever. After quickly getting seated on a busy weekday afternoon, our orders arrived swiftly and the kickstarter was a delicious juicy chicken 65 paired with some Parota & salna, and a mutton Sukka, everything was excellent a great start to a fantastic meal, only dampened by the seer fish fry, which wasn’t very fresh. When shared our feedback the polite staff quickly replaced with another seer fish dish, which wasn’t to our liking as well in terms of freshness of the fish, the staff removed it off the table and the bulk, which wasn’t very kind and has become a rarity in these days. The mutton Biriyani was superbly authentic and a must try here and it was very close to how wifey makes at home, the short grain rice was cooked to perfection with each morsel being the perfect flavour bombs one would expect out of authentic Tamil cuisine, highly recommended is for you to finish off the meal with some rice and rasam true to the tradition, and we are going to visit back here soon.

A first class Chettinad food experience in namma Bengaluru!!! Though the place is quiet small, I would suggest to drop in early for lunch to have a pleasant ambience of the place to sit and relish their amazing food. We had ordered mutton soup and for the starters went for Yera Varuval which were top notch. Then came the show stopper "ONE of the most yummiest Chettinad Mutton Biryani to literally burst ur taste buds". The mutton biryani was very delicious to every rice and mutton was very tender and juicy the flavours have blended very well with the rice and mutton. An authentic Chettinad taste very much evident in all their dishes. We finished things off with a spicy butter milk which would give you good digestion after having a spicy meal. Adding to the hospitality, their staff were v ry courteous and happy to explain their food and what goes in into them and too pleasing to give you the feel food factor of dining in their restaurant. This should be a must visit place if you are in search of authentic Chettinad food in Bengaluru!!!

Naachiyars is a mellowed down version of chettinad flavors, every single food in their menu is worth the buck, tastes equally good, for those craving for AMMAVIN KAIPAKKUVAM, this is their go to place. Do finish your meal with their complementary payasam, for the perfect end.

This place has earned many times award in the times food guide and we have been meaning to go here. Finally, our Saturday luncheon happened here today and following is our experience- Food - This place as the name suggests. specializes in Chettinad cuisine. We had to order for their mutton biriani( Very well made with perfect spices and succulent mutton pieces. They also give boiled egg which I love), the mutton soup was a great appetizer to start the meal and helps in cleaning the palate. The chicken fried kebab and boiled egg kebab was both good, however l it cab be tad too fried! Customer service- Good and prompt Ambience- This place has a feel of an old Chettiar mansion. The seating place is slightly too cosy. The washroom hygiene is a thumbs down. Value for money- Excellent

They didn't have a few items that were on the menu. Service could improve. The food was amazing.

Food was below average, the price was on the higher side and it was not worth it. Found a chicken piece in egg biryani, vegetarians/eggtarians have to be careful while ordering biryani.

Average biryani. Smells really good though but its not flavorful. Its has a terrible sour taste and meat was just mostly bones
