I’ve had breakfast here many times. People are polite, food is delicious. Vada and coffee is the best for me. You can go and try anything - they really prepare everything fresh and you can really feel good eating it. The place has a nostalgic touch, you’ll feel like eating in old times - but taste in really good. Sambar is less sweet than other places. Overall it’s peaceful to eat breakfast.

The Masala Dosey here is better than CTR. That is saying something. Uddin vade and coffee as well. This place has not got its due. If it’s first class Masal Dosey you want, don’t think twice. Go to this place. Thank me later. Zomato has got its timings wrong. It’s open 7am - 7pm.

A legendary place situated in Basavanagudi. Loved their masala dosa and their cold badam milk. You can still see the old style vintage tables and notice the same in the Ambience also. pocket friendly and still they maintain the standards.

Visit this legendary place to have good breakfast... easily visible from main road..you'll get nostalgic feeling once you are in.. Good breakfast options & do not forget to have badam halwa ..

If not for the food, go there for the environment the place offers as soon as you're in front of it. A few elders sitting outside reading the newspaper, a few people looking at the menu at the counter, a few friends sitting across tables, makes you wonder that maybe Bangalore was less heartless when places like these were in their prime. The place is neat & clean, serves their Dose hot & Vadas crisp, nothing much to ask for. The food is not extraordinary but the place serving it makes it one. Go visit someday & live whatever is left of the long lost bengaluru.

New Modern Hotel or popularly known as NMH is one of the old eating joints in the city of Bengaluru. NMH started out in 1959 as an eatery and also has boarding and lodging facilities. NMH has been very famous among certain great personalities and many till date love the food that they offer. They certainly have not changed much and managed to keep things as vintage as possible even in this modern paced world. NMH has that heritage vibe and it is indeed a good place to visit and have some amazing food. We had the following while we were there.

One of the older establishments for breakfast in Bengaluru. Humble and honest place if you want some fresh food and tasty food. The upit was very tasty and vada was good too. Sabar was nice. Fresh food. Quick service and good staff too.

A very old hotel near vv Puram and famous for Masala Dosa , Toasted Bread with sauce & coffee !!! Food is good here!!! Ambience is good too with friendly staff!! Must visit place for yummy breakfast

A true Ooru classic! Highlights: The vadas, kesari bath, coffee, and the masala dosa. The gulkan and saagu with bread toast does bring up some divided opinion but I happen to savour it every time!
