Located opp Martha's hospital, this is a boon for people craving a good breakfast. The idli was super soft and complimented with tasty chutney and sambaar, but the show stopper was the Vada. Crisp on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside - easily one of the best I've eaten in over 40 years of breakfasts all over South India. Perfectly balanced filter coffee to top it off. Totally recommended !

This restaurant is very economical for quick breakfast. Service is quick as well as food is tasty. Price is very reasonable like 30 Rs for idli plate. They serve hot and fresh breakfast. Worth try for South indian dishe lovers like upma masala dosa idli vada sambar. Price 5/5 Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Value for money 5/5

This is my place for lunch and evening snacks for last five years. Head to this place for a quick, pocket friendly lunch and snacks. Though choice is limited, quick turnaround is an advantage here.

Nisarga The word means Nature and in the Garden City on the busy street of Infantry Road, just opposite to Police Commissioner’s Office is the place which I am talking today. Nisarga Garden Pure Veg - Yes this place has few very old trees 🌳 and greenery. But the people here are more green here with a bigger 💓 heart. This joint is a wonderful place for a snack and the strong coffee ☕️ of Bangalore which is served in the glasses 🥛 not cups. Happen to meet Prasanna Kumar who is the chaat specialist at this place and believe me he serves almost 150 chaat a day. I myself couldn’t stop for one so had another one, then another one and finally had 5 of them. You have all that yummy ones which you want - Pani Puri, Nippattu Masal Chaat, Samosa Chaat, Aloo Chaat, Dahi Puri, Sev Puri, Samosa and Aloo cutlet It was amazing chatt’s They also have these traditional holige which is like getting melted in my sweet tooth. A forgotten place but still serving best chats - Thanks 🙏🏻 Prasanna Service 3.5/5 Taste 5/5 Prasanna Personal attention 10/10 Location 4/5

Pocket friendly Restaurant. Ambience and seating is very good. Open ambience and outdoor seating. Can find all the government officers here in the lunch time. Usually crowded in afternoon. Ordered Bele obbattu, chole bhatura, akki and ragi rotti , bisibele bath and puri saagu . Their bele obbattu is extra ordinary , it's very sweet and aroma of the obbattu is spread all over the restaurant. And they are famous for preparing chole bhatura , it's just yummy and no words. Akki and ragi rotti also tasted good. Their red Chutney served with rotti's taste fantastic. Bisi bele was served hot , as it's name says. Overall a very good restaurant for lunch and a quick bite in the evening. To add on: Please forget the concept of vehicle parking here , no parking is allowed as it's situated right opposite to bangalore city commissioner of police office. Should park vehicle in some where far away and should visit. If your working place is near by then it's well and good. Easily accessible to vidhan soudha, cubbon park and Cunningham road ( Avg 5 mins walk) .

Who doesn't like a good South Indian breakfast? A Hot crisp masala Dosa with a dollop of butter? Or maybe some sweet Kesari Bhath soaked in ghee? The Nisagara garden restaurant on Infantry road , seems to be famous for what they have to offer. This place is almost always packed with diners. Finding a seat for yourself might be quite a task. Don't be startled if you find yourself sharing a table with a stranger , it's a common sight here. The open butter masala dosa is basically an open Dosa , coated with a good amount of spicy chutney powder , topped with aloo masala and a generous dollop of butter . The Akki roti, Hollige ,Chola Batura and Open butter masala Dosa are the must try dishes here !

Tucked in the old world charm of Bengaluru... This garden restuarant lives up to Perfect old world ambience of Garden restaurants... The endangered ones now existing. The menu is a bit on the up for pricing but the Quality is reasonable. Timings work basically for working people and visitors from the commissioners office. The Parota and Chana masala sells like hot cakes. Dosas are super crisp and try the Open Dosa and Rava onion dosa. The Chinese was once a seller but now lost its charm. A restuarant with a separate eating section and service section (charges are significantly higher though). And endangered breed of hotels soon disappearing , so you can visit for a decent south Indian fare.
