Had been here at NORTHERN GATE by GATEWAY HOTEL for the lunch brunch. Ambience- As we enter into a magnificent setting, luxuries of modernity. and somelive music which was natural and comfortable. Coming to the food since we had been for the brunch there are lot's of dishes to wake up your taste buds, Hydrabadi dum Biryani was at the peak of the taste as the chef maintained the richness of the Biryani in the flavor. I liked the Non veg dishes which was soo Good especially the fish they served was well cooked and so yum They have got a Wonderful desserts section with tasty delights to jump in All 4 elements happening in equal - the cuisine, the drink, the service and overall ambience . . Value for money - 5/5 . Ambience - 5/5 . Hygiene - 5/5 . Service - 5/5 . Taste - 5/5 . Overall - 5/5

Love the service as always. Great food and drink! It had been a great experience dining with the Gateway. Each time the experience and quality of food had been great and consistent. We feel comfortable and homely. The staff had been very courteous and friendly. Mr. Sandip Roy and Tushar Kumar Das have been very nice and friendly to us as well.

Great place for breakfast after a good workout.. Good spread of fruits and sprouts with blameless count of Continental and South-Indian dishes which makes the buffet worth for healthy diet.. Chef Tushar, Suresh and Bony shared a great hospitality of Taj at the table.. Much more excited for Vivanta embracement..

well not many words about this.....Its part of Taj..... the ambience is good....same with the food..... its continental mostly.....but awesome.... service.....Amazing...friendly staff....We feel welcome here...

Oh my god ! The sunday brunch options were never ending. It was a feast both for the tummy and for the eyes to see. You name it and it was there. Loved the meat and cold cuts and the cheese and the beer. Even the breakfast buffet is good and so is the service.

Went for their Sunday Brunch. The spread was wide enough, and a fair part of it tasted good as well. Particularly liked their live grills, and a couple of seafood salads. Live music added to the overall experience. Overall, not that great, but worth a visit.

A good cosy hotel offers good variety of options for food. Juices are good specially ABC. Wide variety of fruit spread and the staff is courteous too. Can’t complain. :)

First things first: This is now Vivanta by Taj, after Gateway Hotel was acquired by them. Tried this buffet only in-house restaurant during my stay there. Breakfasts were complimentary which included a Sunday brunch on one of the days. The outdoor seating beneath the greenery, and spacious seating are impressive while maintaining social distance. Breakfast buffet includes many options as well, but not many non vegetarian ones. So a little disappointed there. Pancakes & Eggs made to order were brilliant! All in all, a good choice to have a laid back breakfast inside this lavish property.

This restaurant has wide variety of options...paying an amount of 2000 I felt the staters varieties were less...the best of all is the desserts varieties...the desserts served were different and yummy....the service was not up to the being a 5 star hotel...buffet menu was mentioned with drinks but when we asked for drinks they told we can't serve...how can a waiter working in 5star restaurant blindly tell that no drinks for you guys with out knowing the menu options...very very disappointed with their service

One star. Don't get me wrong. The food was good. Ambiance is okay. Spread was reasonable. Staff was courteous. But why the one star? Lemme explain. We had called the restaurant to confirm the price for the buffet the previous evening and the same day morning to confirm and reserve. They said the price was 1050 plus tax. Which is the same as given in the Zomato site. But when we were billed, we were charged 1800 plus tax per person for no good reason. Which came up to 2200 pp We didn't even take the alcoholic brunch. 2200 for a weekday brunch when they had clearly said that the price was 1050 is daylight robbery. We even mentioned that we had a celebration and absolutely no arrangements were made. It's not in the standard of the gateway hotels to CHEAT costumers like this. Shame on you guys for telling us the wrong prices and fooling us and spoiling our celebration. We even called the manager the same evening and asked him what had happened and he said he will look into it and try to get us a refund but that didn't happen too. This kind of cheating attitude will not be tolerated. Hopeless! We have no qualms in paying if the price was told correctly in the beginning itself. But this kind of fooling attitude is definitely not going to be taken lightly by me.
