Stayed at Oakwood Residences at Whitefield during recent visit to Bangalore. As part of the stay, got chance to have Breakfast at Oakleaf Restaurant. The ambience is wonderful. The service is very good. And the spread on breakfast is quite amazing. They serve lot of variety of south indian, north indian and continental dishes. During our breakfast across days of our stay, we tried dosas, idli, vada along with sambar and variety of chutneys. We also had chole bhature, aloo paratha with yogurt and pickle, sandwiches, salads, corn flakes, juices, cut fruits and tea/coffee. Overall you are pampered with a lot of choices of tasty and fresh food along with very good service.

A very good experience at the European cuisine! The reach to the place is very apt as it is directly on the main Varthur Road and the most happening place - The Forum Value Mall. The entrance to the place is bit confusing but we finally managed it by calling the restaurant. They happily escorted us to the restaurant from the Level 2 Parking. The ambiance is cozy and very modern. The place was actually dazzling to its grandeur. The service was good but could have been little faster. For the starters we ordered; Lamb Olathiyathu; Kalounji Jhinga, Tomato Basil Bruschetta, Mezze Platter. The Lamb was very tender and the menu was perfectly cooked. The prawns was good but lacked the punch of a hot sauce. Mezze Platter was one of its kinds that I had tasted for the first time; a great dish for the vegetarians of course. The toast of the Bruschetta was the best I have tasted ever. To go with the starters; we had ordered Shirley Temple (for myself), Lychee Margarita, Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc, and Corona. I would have loved the Orange juice little more in the Shirley Temple. Overall a great start!!! For the main course; Penne Alla Braccio Di Ferro, Spageti Ragu Alla Bologneese, Linguine Con Vongole E Gamberetti, Fettuccini Con Pollo E Funghi, Pan Seared Bassa & Vegetable Canellonni. All the pasta dishes were very gooyey, very cheezy and very tasty! But, the killer dish was the Baasa; one of the best fish dish I have ever tasted. The fish melted like butter in the mouth. The Canellonni was another notable dish that I would love to taste here again and again. To end with; we had fruit salad. Certainly a good place to visit over and over! There are lots of other dishes to try out next time!!! Everything was good and the price convincing; but Rs. 150 for a bottle of Kinley? Think about ordering water here! Taste: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Ambiance: 4/5 | Menu Variety: 5/5 | Value for Money: 4/5

Went here during the GIRF time. The place was mostly empty when we arrived for early lunch. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Ambience is good, simple and classy. They have a pool area as well which serves as smoking zone too. The food was delicious! We ordered the wild mushroom soup and a veg starter. I had the stuffed chicken breast for main course which was obviously too filling for one. Dedducting a star for the drinks as I was not too happy with my LIIT or the classic Mojito my friend ordered. Overall this was a good experience.

Very nice and calm restaurant on the busy forum value mall road. Located behind forum mall, at 9th floor of oakwood residency. Absolutely no noise from outside traffic. Sat beside pool, very calm. Lot of food options on menu. Tried chicken ghee roast, tasted very good with lots of ghee. Mutton fry was equally good. Will visit again.

Very good food and very friendly staff. The breakfast is too good, lot of options and the dimmer menu is also extensive. The seafood risotto was too good. Even the sabjis are very good. Recommended

Service is good at this place and very less crowded. It's a nice place if you want to have your lunch/dinner peacefully.

We decided to visit Oakleaf, Whitefield (behind Nexus/Forum Value mall) as we wanted a less crowded, noiseless Ambience for baby. No doubt, the ambience was very good. It was on the 9th floor, poolside, courteous staff. What we didn't like was the food. We took Non veg platter (chicken and prawn was good), fish and mutton was horrible. Stale, uncooked fish, mutton didn't taste like mutton. It was store bought frozen seekh I guess. Butter naan, paratha and butter chicken was tasty. With the price, quantity is minimal, 5-6 small pieces of chicken. Chicken Biryani did not have long grain rice, it was like stale rice cooked with flavours of biryani. Orange Basil was freshly made but didn't like the taste, it had no orange juice but more of ice /water Waste of money for sure. The ambience was good only. Renovation is going on, so the entrance is not anything like a hotel. Obviously will never go back again. But Thanks to the boys who served us.

Not even one guard out of 6 guards of oakwood as well as forum mall knows about restraunt. They directed me to mall and we searched for restraunt in mall for 1hour with aged parent and pregnant wife. Phone number of manager in prebooking mail was 10000000. What is this? A joke? After finally getting number from tripadvisor, drunken manager picked up call, who has no clue no care about the situation.
