I have been here a couplenof times. Food is generally good. Puran poli and Khawa poli are the best and authentic. Other food items are also quite good. We generally inform the servers in advance about the spice related preference and they make sure that we get what is asked for. we generally go early for lunch around 12.15 to 12.30 so no waiting time. Service can be slow sometimes and the staff needs a bit of training. Overall, if you are prepared for a little slow service, inform about your spice preference in advance, this is a fantastic and authentic place for Maharashtrian cuisine.

contrary to the average rating, our experience was quite positive: a. responsive and courteous service. since there are a lot of items, waiters don't know about all the items. but they find out and tell you. it's a nice experience of discovery since the menu is full of items one does not usually encounter. b. a very interesting assortment of Maharashtrian vegetarian cuisine one may not usually encounter. and food quality was pretty good. we had sabudana khichadi, maaswadi, kothimbir vadi, mathki daal usal and bhakris. all very nice

Wonderful environment service is impeccable, 100% recommended place. Authentic homemade Marathi food served with pure love.... Do visit to experience their authenticity and warmness. The patodi rassa srikhand and puran poli are the best😊

This was our first experience to have food. A group of 4 visited for lunch, the Indian seating (cushion on the floor) and table seating was a welcome change. i personally felt that the food was of two extremes - either bland or too spicy (theeka hot). for the price (600, and drinks at 140), we felt the VFM missing the service was good, and refills were fast.

Being a Maharashtrian in Bangalore, I resist myself from discouraging the hard work of a Maharashtrian restaurant, but I felt compelled to do so after visiting this place the third time and facing disappointment yet another time. 1. The very first thing is the waiting time to get the seating place, then the waiting time to get the order placed and then the waiting time to get the actual food to eat. I had to wait almost 1 hour to calm down my hunger and put something in my stomach. 2. The taste of the food is way below the expectations than the actual taste of what a maharashtrian cuisine offers. None of the dishes present in the Thali is worth commending about. The rotis look like machine cooked and stale. 3. Cost(which doesn’t matter if the food is great) which is in this case is way too high for a sub standard taste. The restaurant should at least focus on improving on first two major things since I don’t think people would have issue paying higher for the taste that they want.

We came here at 11.45 am for food, however we were asked to leave the restaurant stating they won't be able to serve us food till 12.30 as they had many online orders, absolutely unprofessional.. my family had to leave the restaurant...!!!?? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

The Ambaa thali which is priced at 599 is the most overpriced thali ever! The service was so bizarre. The staff did not know what to serve when. Had to keep asking for what’s next. Service was super slow. At 599 you barely get 5-6 items.

The most pathetic place to have food. We found a big cockroach in Patodi Rassa, no one even apologised. Every dish we had was almost bland, no taste. Very very bad experience. Very unhygienic.
