Went to Rim Naam to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it turned out to be a truly memorable evening. The food was outstanding — every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented — and the service was equally impressive. We had ordered the stir‑fried lobster, but when the dish first arrived, it looked more like prawns. I didn’t raise it immediately, as such an error seemed unlikely at a restaurant of Rim Naam’s caliber. To my surprise, the chef and manager themselves came over, acknowledged the mix‑up, and sincerely apologised. They quickly rectified it by serving us the correct lobster dish, which was excellent. This proactive approach and honesty really stood out and made us feel valued as guests. A special mention to Msta, our attendant for the evening, who was patient, courteous, and took the time to explain the dishes with great detail. To top it all off, the team graciously served us Rim Naam Mandarin and a delicious chocolate cake on the house — a thoughtful gesture that ended the celebration on a delightful note.Overall, it was a wonderful experience — the kind of service and attention to detail one expects from a fine‑dining restaurant of this nature. Mistakes can happen, but the way Rim Naam handled it showed true professionalism. Keep up the great work, and thank you for making the occasion so special.

Extremely good food and service. Ambience is 10/10. Only issue we faced was of the mosquitoes as it is an open place. That too was resolved. Spent a great anniversary evening

I visited the Rimnaam restaurant last week to celebrate my husband's birthday. Let me start by saying that it is one of the most beautiful restaurants that i have ever seen. We went there for a late dinner but i am sure it would have been more gorgeous in the daylight. We ordered few appetizers and have mixed reviews for them. The mock duck that we ordered was very tasty and authentic to thai flavours even the sauce that they served with crispy chicken was mindblowing and completely changed the flavour of a normal fried chicken. Crispy mushroom was really crispy but it was very salty and it seem the sauce was not properly mixed in mushrooms so every bite had a different taste. They took the feedback well and didnt charge us for the mushrooms but it was a little disappointing since I love mushroom and was very eager to taste the dish. They also arranged for a surprise small cake for the occasion which was a very nice gesture. The biggest problem however was that I sent out an email with a request and it was completely ignored. When discussed with them they said that we assumed so and so. Now that kind of ruined my idea of celebration in this particular restaurant. With an entity like Oberoi, I didnt expect first that they will messup and secondly that they will give this excuse "that we assumed so and so". So overall it was a mixed experience for us.

So I went there for my birthday but unfortunately they didnt have their full regular menu that day. They were experimenting with some new items so we had to initially choose from that. The soup was good but a little weird, it was some chicken legs soup I think. The started was really bad, it was meagre amount of pork in between bread - it just looked slightly fancy but tasted really bad and I hope they did not rank this into their regular menu. Thankfully after that i asked for the regular items whichever was available and loved the main course which also came in good quantity. Drinks were absolutely excellent. In the end they gave me a birthday cake - i dont know what flavour it was but it was super deliciously chocolaty and I still dream of it. Overall loved it other than their experimental menu.

Great ambience and service, however the food taste was pretty average. We went for the set menu as we were a group of 9. Not worth the premium price and the 4.9 rating.

I had heard great things about Rim Naam, and it had been on my list for over a year. We finally visited on 1st January 2026, booking a lunch table to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Having been to Thailand twice and having enjoyed authentic Thai food numerous times, I was expecting a similar level of authenticity and finesse—especially given the premium pricing. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The fish cake was decent but fairly average. The chicken skewers were served cold, which was surprising. Both the red and green Thai curries were noticeably sweeter than what one would expect from authentic Thai cuisine, to the point that I couldn’t enjoy them beyond the first couple of bites. The Thai peas were undercooked, and even the jasmine rice felt slightly underdone. Overall, this was not at all what I expected from a restaurant of this reputation and price point.

Extremely unprofessional experience. The hotel confirmed my booking and later called to change the terms of the reservation. A confirmed booking should mean exactly that—confirmed. Such practices reflect poorly on management and create unnecessary inconvenience for guests. You need a more structured reservation team .
