The food quality was extremely disappointing—easily the worst I’ve experienced so far. I would rate it at the very lowest on my scale. Even the fried rice was overly salty and not enjoyable.

I visited Roxie this past Sunday afternoon with my family. Given the high praise this establishment often receives, I felt it was important to provide detailed feedback on our experience, which, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. Beverage Service & Mixology We started with two Classic Negronis. While the house pour is Zoya Gin, we requested an upgrade to Roku. The service logic regarding the pricing was quite confusing; we were essentially asked to pay for individual 60ml portions of Gin, Vermouth, and Campari separately. This brought the cost of a single Negroni to ₹2,100 (plus taxes). Standard industry practice for a spirit upgrade should be the base cocktail price plus the cost differential of the gin. By my calculation, the drink should have been approximately ₹1,255. Beyond the pricing discrepancy, the balance of the Negronis was disappointing and did not meet the standard of a craft cocktail bar. Food Quality The culinary experience was underwhelming, with several issues regarding freshness: • Madras Curry Prawn: This felt like an unsuccessful attempt at a "Chettinad Al-Yolio." Of Bombay Canteen. The prawns lacked freshness and the execution was below par. • Baked Salmon with Sri Lankan Curry: Unfortunately, the salmon was stale. We raised this with the Chef, who graciously removed it from the bill, but it was a significant disappointment. • Black Garlic Caesar Salad: Lacked the crispness and brightness expected of a fresh salad. • Chicken Scaloppine Milano: The mushroom sauce lacked the necessary creamy consistency, resulting in a dry dish. • Raw Mango Chilli Chicken & Red Hot Chicken Bolognaise Pizza: Both were mediocre—acceptable, but not memorable. The Highlights The mocktails—Fruitful Affair and Apple Dew—were the saving grace of the afternoon. They were well-balanced and refreshing. The Apple Dew, with its hint of cucumber, would actually make an excellent base for a Gin-based cocktail if the bar chooses to experiment with it. Final Verdict It is rare that I feel compelled to write a critical review, but the discrepancy between the "hype" and the actual quality at Roxie is stark. Between the pricing confusion at the bar and the subpar food quality—which unfortunately resulted in a stomach upset for my wife—the experience was highly disappointing. I sincerely hope the management looks into their ingredient sourcing and staff training, as the current standard is not sustainable for a celebrated venue.

Samim’s service was good. However the food and the quality has degraded. I don’t understand how being on date gets you one of the worst seating areas like one is being dumped. And the prices are not worth it. I am ready to give 700 for a pasta but i’ll tell you it was not worth 200. Only thing good was korean bun and gochujang wings. Rest below average and overpriced

during day it become hot for the folks sitting in the garden area and the fan coverage is not good as we felt hot during the whole experience, although asked the folks there multiple times but theybwere unable to help
