DELICIOUS FOOD, very friendly courteous staff, everything is made fresh as and when you order. I went in with zero expectations as with every restaurant in Indiranagar. . But Shaap was such a pleasant surprise. I settled for the Veg meal and my partner ordered the fish meal. It was fantastic. Even better than my regular mallu joint. The red chutney was delectable. Opens up your palate to the rest of the dishes. We also tried the soya shaap style. 10/10 Basically “shaap style” means super spicy, super hot. As with every Kerela restaurant, there are always a lot of options for ‘Vegetarians/vegans Hands down the only restaurant in indiranagar that can be called authentic Kerela cuisine. Visiting again for sure! Pictures are from my second visit!

Of course the best kerala food ever i had in bangalore is the chattichoru from shaap. It was a mix of rice mixed with fishcurry gravy prepared with kudampoli in traditional kerala meenchatty and pulissery chammanthy acharu and beef with papadam. Evryone must try i say worth the money. Ordered once addicted to it. Biriyani was just good made up of big rice (basmati) rather than small jeera rice. Erachy fry was delicious but quantity is very less

Authentic Kerala food. Had Kappa biriyani, shaap fish biriyani and another chicken side dish. Prices are very reasonable. Will recommend to everyone. Will be visiting again.

When the carnivores get together it's absolute food frenzy. What we wolfed? Beef ullarthiyathu Beef shaap fry Prawns roast Chicken fry Netholi fry Chicken chatti chor (chicken rice in a pot) Puttu beef Liver fry Kerala paratha Fish curry and steamed rice Since we couldn't get toddy had to make do with lemon juice that looked like toddy 😁 I liked the ullarthiyadu, prawns roast, puttu beef and liver fry. The chicken chatti chor included boiled rice gravy, pickles and a phenomenal chutney made with red chilli, tamarind and salt. The puttu was lovely. Moist and had flavors of the beef. The beef itself was melt in the mouth. Brilliant stuff and stuffed !

Fairly quick service. Seems to be always crowded though. Parking around might be difficult. Their Pazham Kanji is a must try!! Apart from this their menu is elaborate and variety when it come to dishes in fish seem to be large. I wouldn't be able to comment on the taste though as I had only tried their vegetarian options. Their snack variety is rather limited and I have had better though

It’s my favorite restaurant but out of 50 times I try to order from this restaurant only once or twice delivery partners are available. However I regularly order from restaurants in the same area without any problems. Please fix this issue and know you are loosing a lot of business and customers because of this.

Shaap used to serve some amazing Kerala food years back.! But I’m very disappointed with what they serve now, the quality of food and combination is below average! Takes forever to get the food on table. Not recommending anymore.

The food was disappointment. We went for dinner, not sure about lunch scenes. Erechi seemed stale; must have been fried 10 times before serving us, felt like ash in our mouth. Fish wasn't cooked properly. Appam was alright.

Serice was way below the standards. Waiter served only half of the order and forgot the rest, even after reminding him TWICE! Finally when we went to the counter to request the status the guy informed that the kitchen is empty and they cannot serve anything for the night. So after 2 hours of waiting we could only taste a mediocre starter and a bottle of water.
