If there were an option to give a minus rating, I would have gladly done so. This is the worst place I have ever experienced. We were cheated with a stale, foul-smelling Bengali chicken biryani. Instead of ordering from Swiggy or Zomato—assuming that Bengali outlets might deliver stale food—we decided to walk into the restaurant ourselves, believing they wouldn’t cheat customers who physically visited the place. How wrong we were. The restaurant looked old and barely functional. There were no customers inside, which immediately raised suspicion. When we asked the waiters about this, they informed us that the place was going to shut down due to multiple operational problems and lack of profit. Despite being skeptical after hearing this, we still decided to give it a try because we had been craving Bengali biryani for a long time. Unfortunately, our fears came true. The biryani we were given was clearly stale and had a strong, unpleasant smell. It completely ruined our dinner, and we had no choice but to throw the entire packet into the dustbin. I genuinely want to ask the authorities of this restaurant: why do you serve stale food when you know it is unfit for consumption? Is it really worth ruining someone’s meal and wasting their hard-earned money just to make a quick profit? Such pathetic and horrible service deserves to be called out. No matter how many branches you open, practices like these will eventually leave you with nothing. The waiters mentioned that this outlet would be shutting down permanently from January and that new branches are planned in Kundalahalli and Whitefield. To everyone reading this—please beware and stay away from this place.

I will provide a review of their catering service today. For the very first time, I was a consumer of their service. Bengalis from our society held Poila Baishak celebrations yesterday and I found Kolkata Sholoana was provided the contract for providing food for 50+ people at a society near Hebbal lake. To start with, they forgot to send Luchi Alurdom which was part of the menu. The org committee had to separately order it from a local bengali restaurant at around 8:30pm when they realised that it was not there. Then there was chicken rezala which no one could consume. It was smelling from the moment it arrived. The catering boy initially said Rezala smells like this 😁 but couldn't defend for long. Then comes the mutton. It was half boiled. Even the smallest pieces were not boiled properly. Felt we were chewing rubber. Vegetarians couldn't get chanar dalna because their catering boys initially gave chanar dalna to the non veg eaters. So vegetarians who had their dinner later got only curry not chanar kofta. Forgot to mention that the veg cutlet was tasting like rosogolla with the amount of sugar added to it and the mishti paan had extra rosogolla syrup in it. No there is something positive about the review as well. The bhetki fish fry was quite good and all the guests enjoyed it. This is a review of their great catering service. Think twice before giving them an order for your event. They will ruin it with responsibility.

this place needs to be shut down. we went for lunch and it was stinking like urine. then a rat ran across the floor and the owner couldn't do anything. I don't know who the authority is to complain and get this place shut immediately

The biryani was extremely dry and the overall food quality has badly deteriorated. The restaurant’s unhygienic and poorly maintained atmosphere made the visit very disappointing, and I won’t be returning.

Very unhygienic place. Cockroaches are roaming around everywhere. Lost appetite. Food inspectors should raid this place. I am sure the owners are not ever bothered
