Extremely disappointing experience at Skyye — probably the worst service I have experienced from any premium restopub in Bangalore. We visited for a birthday celebration expecting a premium hospitality experience, but the staff behavior and overall service were shockingly poor. The staff treated us as if we had come for free food despite us paying a heavy bill along with a ₹2,500 cover charge at entry. What made it worse was that they never informed us beforehand that:• there would be NO DJ/music experience, and• a private corporate party was happening inside, due to which major seating areas were blocked/restricted for regular customers. Charging full cover fees without disclosing these restrictions is highly unprofessional and misleading. The birthday celebration handling was equally disappointing. The cake was brought during the middle of the main course, and the staff was unwilling to coordinate serving it properly after dinner. Even after somehow managing the situation ourselves, they handed over candles and simply walked away without providing a lighter or matchbox. We waited around 15 minutes just to get the staff’s attention again, and then another 5 minutes for them to bring a lighter. There was a time when Skyye Bangalore used to be one of the top premium spots in the city. It was our first choice for New Year’s Eve celebrations and always felt special. Sadly, it now feels like all of that is gone. To make things even worse, the staff members were openly fighting with each other in Kannada and Hindi right in front of customers, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected extremely poor professionalism. It was altogether one of the worst experiences we have had. For a place positioning itself as a premium rooftop destination, the hospitality standards were extremely poor. Lack of communication, careless service, rude attitude, and poor customer handling completely spoiled the occasion. Definitely not worth the premium pricing or the so-called “luxury” experience.

The food was very bad and definitely not worth the price. If your only purpose is to drink and enjoy the ambience, you might consider going, but don’t expect much from the food or mocktails—even the mocktails were disappointing. Also, beware of the ₹2,500 entry/cover charge, which is something to keep in mind before visiting. Overall, the food quality was far below what I expected. Definitely not a place I would recommend for dining if you are foodie.

The food was not at all good and the portion size is not good. I ordered mushroom it was completely stale. And also, I ordered a cocktail of named old-fashioned but there is some miscommunication and I got charged of 1350 ₹ where the rate stated as ₹990 in the menu. There was no proper communication between the waiter. We asked a glass of water and it took nearly 10 minutes just to get it to the table.

Very poor service. Slow, unresponsive, unwelcoming. Don’t use district to book, once you go there your booking & payment through district including any offers will be invalid.
