I'm a huge fan of the healthy North-East food, especially when it's winter or if I'm sick. But since I stay in Rajajinagar there are very few places to explore new food as it's majorly dominated by local food. So while searching I was able to locate this restaurant. First of all this is not like just another Davangere Benne Dosa hotel in Bangalore who probably don't even know the real taste of Benne Dosa (I have the right to criticize them since I'm from Davangere) . So at Snow Lion they say they are Tibetan and they are true to it. I have been here 2 times and since I'm vegetarian I have had only vegetarian food. If you want to be amazed try mainly Tibetan food while other non-tibetan foods are average. Thukpa- I have tried maily two thukpa dishes here, Veg Thukpa and Snow Lion Special Thukpa. If you are a fan of Broth (light) try Veg Thukpa but if you prefer Stew(thick) then try Snow Lion Special Thukpa. King of this Thukpa is mainly "Hand Made Noodles" because I have seen at other places they put Hakka Noodles to Thukpa which are heavy in texture and have no taste. But here the noodles are medium thin and kiss your lips when you slurp them. I have seen in few reviews they say their broth or stew is bland but I say throw in some chilli oil n u will taste the heaven or if you don't wana make it complicated then go for a stew rather than for broth. Tibetan Butter Tea - This has to be better experienced than to be told. In short "SMELLS LIKE A SWEET BUT TASTES LIKE A SPICE" so you better smell it before you slurp it. All the dishes come in Veg / Chicken /Beef. And if someone can make veg taste good then can sure make non-veg great. This place is open till 11pm with last order at 10:30pm and near to MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Visit here if are going to visit someone in MSRIT or if u get back late night from work and searching for a good food. Night time is the best time to have food here. Though parking is not available you can park your vehicle near by park. SO GO IN and TRY NOT TO HESITATE TO ADD CHILLI OIL

It’s really tough to find places in Bangalore that serve amazing momos. I finally found this place in bel road near Ramiah college and checked it out. Their manchurian momos was hands down the best I’ve had in Bangalore. Will definitely come back here for more 😍

Affordable Tibetan food near MSRIT: Snow Lion is a blessing for student crowds. The homely ambience is welcoming but could do with ventilation and more cleanliness, especially when the food is spicy to the core! That said, the noodles, rice, soups and sides are all worth a shot. The thukpa soup, Snow Lion chopsuey and beef noodles are my favourites! Overall, worth it!

A small place near Ramaiah medical college. It is filled with student crowd. Service is quick; good staff. All their momos coated in sauces are amazing: chilli momos, Schezwan momos, Hong Kong momos etc. Thukpa and chop suey is something i dont like here. The noodles they use is the thin rice noodles which doesn't compliment the flavours. And the thukpa itself is also very bland. I don't recommend that. Fried rice is amazing. Burnt garlic, Schezwan and butter garlic are my all time favourites. Affordable prices. Can visit for lunch or snack time. A bit unhygienic though, which is a main concern. Ambience-3/5 (improve hygiene) Service-3/5 Food-3.5/5 Value for money-4/5

Okay the dishes I took was chicken momo chicken thukpa and chicken bbq... The positive side about this restaurant is the people and service is good and warm also the interior is kind of okay...The price is low too. But here comes the bad part the momo which I had was soggy and hard also it looked like balls not the traditional Tibetan mom which we have in half moon shapes. The thukpa was the worst part, the broth was just like water with no seasoning or taste to it also it wasn't thick.. I always enjoy to drink broth but from the picture you can see I just left it...really was horrible... And the chicken bbq was like just like chicken manchurian with gravy which we have in Chinese restaurants...It wasn't bbq at all then why the name...I dont know about other dishes but the dishes that I had was pathetic... They should improve the quality and standards of food..The people there are good and humble....

Very bad quality of food the soup was bad the momo had no filling inside and the fried rice was very oily plus had no flavour. The quality of the food was very pathetic and the ambience is also very dirty felt really unhygienic. Not satisfied with the food at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone

Owner is very rude and asked us to get out of restraunt just for asking why there is huge difference between bill and our ordered food and pretended its not their mistake. He argued with us with worst attitude and said many bad things..pls dont visit this .

Please read these reviews.. Just because you don't get any hair or insect in your food doesn't mean it's hygienic.... Just stop going there..!!!
