The food was delicious! The cocktails were even better. Though we ordered mostly European sorts of dishes, it all tasted close to home in many ways. Their blend of cuisine is impeccable! We ended up ordering more than we planned and finished every last bit of it. I had reserved seats as it was my partners birthday. And it was made a rich and warm experience by the awesome staff there.

Everything is literally 11/10. We had the mofo don, and the bees knees in drinks. Prawn thechta for food. They’re all unbelievably good.

I blame Jasmine is the best cocktail i have ever had. Haleem samosa is amazing. In general the food, service and drinks are all top notch.

Great Bar vibe. Small and well set up. We tried the Upside Down Pineapple and Fries. Both were great! Good place, will repeat :)

Most of Soka’s staff are very friendly, considerate and professional. But oddly the manager is a piece of work. I’ve never heard anyone in FB argue as much as he did with a customer. When I asked him for mocktail options as I wasn’t feeling well, he said it’s a cocktail bar why should we sell mocktails? I don’t know, maybe because all the bars in India and abroad have a mocktail menu? When my friends complained that the food was too spicy, he categorically said - people like spice! Fabulous response. And, when a request for mushrooms was made, he said the majority of this country suffers from mushrooms. These are the most intriguing responses I’ve ever heard. I wondered if he was trained to say all this as a facet of their entertainment program? No, this country doesn’t have a mushroom epidemic. Nor do people like searing spice which makes the food inedible. The chef needs to customize to suit diverse palates, or else, create a No Pay system, as some people might be allergic to letting go of hard earned money for an entitled space that values arrogance over humility. It’s essential to understand the customer sitting in front of you, rather than blindly follow mythical trends. And above all, don’t argue with a paying customer. If there are genuine limitations, voice it, accept it, apologise for it, and offer alternatives with an assurance of creating better options in the future. It’s difficult to explain this to people - the customer never changes in a city. It’s the establishments that keep changing. So who should you base your success on? The customer or stuck up branding? I’ll let you take a wild guess as to which one. A bit of history check will tell you which brands enjoyed longevity and why.

Good ambience and average food, completely ruined by terrible service and dishonesty. The Table Harassment: We booked a 9–11 PM slot. By 9:15 PM, a waitress asked us to leave. Over the next few minutes, two more servers came by asking us to vacate. Getting hounded 3 times in 25 minutes for a table we booked is unacceptable. The Bill Scam: The server suggested an off-menu drink and explicitly confirmed it was in the same price range as the menu. The final bill charged us double the price. Being in the restaurant industry myself, this level of miscommunication and dishonesty is shocking. Save your money, there are much better places nearby.

Over Hyped. Extremely small and too loud , not music but people shouting. Cocktails are avg, poor food choices. Not worth it. There are better cocktail bars in Bangalore. first they tell you to walkin and order and they ask you empty the table.its just stupid

Honestly, it’s extremely overhyped. With the 2 hour slots that you have to book in advance, you still might get seated on a community table paying for overpriced drinks with zero privacy. I am actually surprised by all the positive reviews.

At the end of the day, it's about hospitality. The speakeasy bar game is pretty strong across all major cities at this point. Drinks were pretty mid
