Long back in 2010 when I had been to Commercial street in Shivaji Nagar, very first time I experienced Ghee roast Masala Dosa and Masala vada here and two dishes were delicious.Since then I have been visiting here whenever I am in Shivaji Nagar.Still I find the same taste. After a busy shopping day, today I stepped into Saravana Bhawan to fill my tummy.I am a south indian if you see my choice of my food. What I love most here is Ghee Masala Dosa, which is being served with Sambar and two types chutney (Coconut chutney and spicy tomato chutney).I like Tamil style sambar most and Sambar is good here. Also I like Vada and Masala vada served with green chilli chutney. Also there is a live counter for hot fritters and Dosa in evening time, outside of the restaurant. You will find one woman busy in making the hot fritters and other one serving those to the customer on a piece of newspaper with chilly chutney..Mouth watering Sight. With the sight you will feel hungry for Sure! Must check-in to experience.

A typical tamil nadu style restaurant. I was here to try their breakfast early in the morning. If your soul is kannada cuisine fan, then this is just one time to try restaurant. I odered vegetable rice bath, vada, idly and coffee. Rice bath was less spicy, vada was not fascinating like other kannada darshini style joints. Idly is completely different, it's more spongy than fluffy like kannda darshini style resturant. Sambar is watery and don't get absorbed by idly. If you like to explore tamil nadu breakfast then this place is to try once. Prices are worth for quantity.

Went there after shopping for a few hours and expected good food and courteous service. Must say, I wasn't disappointed! Needless to say Saravana Bhavan is a place which is known in South India by everyone. The south Indian meal is the most preferred meal by almost every south Indian. Had the typical Tamil meal with Sambar and rasam and all the porriyals. The only odd thing was the chapati that was given with the meal which was unexpected but wasn't bad since it tasted amazing with the curry! Had good service and good food!

Whenever I go to commercial make sure I eat at this place. They serve 3 types of Chutneys and sambar. They idlis are fluffy and the onion dosa is cooked perfectly. Don't miss out on this place if u are in commercial street or nearby.

Located on 2nd main road of commercial street. Must visit for quick, on-the-go type snacks.. Specially vada n coffee are famous in the menu apart from ghee dosas. *crunchy and soft vadas... Live counter.

Have been here several times to have piping hot idlis!! This place gets really busy on weekends. They serve amazing idlis n dosas with variety of chutneys. The white chutney here is my favorite 😋.

Firstly. Inaccurate location on GPS. Took 30 mins to find the place. Only the service is quick. We ordered meals, they served us on a leaf. Even though there was a wide variety of food, there was no taste. Only the tomato rasam was good and nothing else. We were 4 of us and they gave us a bottle of besleri each which was inclusive of the meal. The bill was 350 for 4 of us. Giving them 2.5 only for the rasam and besleri bottle.

Extremely congested place. Not enough staff to serve customers. I ordered puri and coffee. It was almost ok.
