Vada Pav - A classic Mumbai street food, the perfect blend of flavors and textures. 2. Misal Pav - A spicy and flavorful curry topped with farsan and served with pav. 3. Kolhapuri Chicken - A fiery and aromatic chicken dish from Kolhapur, packed with bold flavors. 4. Namaste! I recently visited Suryawanshi Restaurant in church street, a unique place that offers some delectable maharashtrian cuisine. A small pop-up with a common area to sit with courteous staff located in the Food District. For food we had some delicious bites in the starting, Starting of some specials with vada pav and misal pav The vada pav was delicious with some crispy vadas and perfect garlic chutney which was flavoursome. The misal pav was perfect and spicy, which was topped with some farsan and served with soft pav. Then we had some delicious bhakri and puran poli which was scrumptious and mouthwatering dishes. The puran poli had loads of ghee in it which enhanced the dish even more In the end, a perfect way to finish the meal with some soft and warm gulab jamun Overall an amazing experience to try some lip smacking maharashtrian food Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4.5/5 Ambiance -4.5/5

I had the pleasure of visiting a newly opened Maharashtrian cuisine restaurant last week, and it was truly a delightful experience. This place is a haven for Maharashtrian food lovers, as they offer a wide range of delectable options, from the classic Vada Pav to refreshing Kokum Sharbat. During my visit, I had the opportunity to savor their Masala Baigan and Jowar Bhakri, which were absolutely delicious. To make the experience even more delightful, we tried their special Puran Poli and Shrikhand Puri, both of which were exceptional. The restaurant truly excels in serving authentic Maharashtrian food. The flavors were spot-on, transporting me to the heart of Maharashtra with every bite. I highly recommend paying a visit to this place if you're looking to indulge in the true essence of Maharashtrian cuisine.

Visited this place with my friends on a Sunday afternoon and absolutely loved the overall experience. This is a small self service outlet at the ground floor of Sobha Mall and the ambience is so pretty. Also, This place serves authentic Maharashtrian cuisines and we tried out their Misal Pav, Pav Bhaji, Chicken Sukka with Roti, pomfret fry mutton thali, lassi, kokum sharbat and shrikhand and let me tell you, you are going to be missing out big time if you don’t try this place. I would very highly recommend the pomfret fry.

I found this gem of a place which is going to sort all my Maharashtrian cravings. The pomfret fry I tried was so fresh and crispy on the outside and soft inside. Absolutely flavourful. Their mutton thali was also next level and would recommend these to everyone! Also, they make their shrikhand by freshly grinding cardamom. Even their kokum sharbat was different and tasty. Most of all, the seating area is so aesthetic at sobha mall with hues of blue and white. The place is clean and service is fast. Loved it overall

The menu here is a true ode to Maharashtra's rich culinary heritage. It boasts an impressive array of dishes, ranging from street food favourites to traditional thalis and regional specialities. The extensive selection left me spoiled for choice, and the knowledgeable staff was more than happy to guide me through the options. I enjoyed the Maharashtrian Thali, Pav Bhaji, Gulab Jamun and sol kadhi.

Visited Suryavanshi restaurant to try out the authentic marathi cuisine. Tried out misal pav, veg thali and solkadi. It’s a decent eatery and your cravings for maharashtrian cuisine will be satisfied.

Had been here for lunch on a Sunday. They didn't have Mutton Thali and very limited options with Fish. The taste wasn't anything great compared to other restaurants in the vicinity. Very disappointed with the food offered

Hello yesterday me and my husband sea food here and honestly the taste was nice overall. It costed us 900 rupees for entire Fish thali which I feel is bit on expensive side I am posting a picture for the reference
