One of the 8 similar places (from my list) serving native Bangalore breakfast for years. All these 8 places have similar menus, similar ambiance and feel, all their dishes taste similar, and even their service was similar (commendable). So, to start with was the usual Idly & Vada - Well, what to say, no matter what time I visit, it tastes the same all the time; spongy idli while the vada was crispy without much oil to it 😚😚 Plain and Masala dosa - The only thing which a non-native person would complain about is the buttery affair making the hands greasy from their rich ghee and butter; so damn smooth while hot and crispy on the outside; well cooked on the inside with aloo gravy in it; their green chutney is the perfect icing on the dosa ❤️ Yet another Kharabath and Kesaribath - Maybe some of the hotels are in a common WhatsApp group since they served the same Jackfruit Kesari here too similar to the Arogya ahaara earlier that day. Nevertheless, it tasted the same and was good from the raisins 🥰🥰 The Kharabath had fewer veggies but the flavor from the onion and the chillies was kicky 🤩 To end up with, always go for coffee in Bangalore when in doubt. They have the best suppliers across the state and maybe the country. TOO GOOD!!! 😘😘 Parking would be a struggle since they have space for 2-wheelers but the adjacent street is for cars. Self-service so grab a token and drop by the designated counter to pick up your plates of joy. Similar ambiance as the other tiffin spots (maybe the same designer for all places) so TBH didn't find any difference, even when it came to price. Pocket-friendly places of Bangalore.

One of the first legendary place I tried as soon as I visited Bengaluru. This place has already set the benchmark so high be it its quality, hygiene, taste or the service it topped in every aspect. This legendary eatery continues to be my favourite among all other south Indian restaurant. I was highly impressed by the hygiene they have maintained even after too much moving crowd, the highlight is undoubtedly the price, taste and food which we ordered but be prepared for a wait, especially during peak hours. It will be worth every penny and experience. Idly (Double) / Wada were extremely fluffy and soft served with delicious chutney, on the other hand Wada’s were crisp and airy inside making each bite a burst of flavors. Idli and Wada as a combination never fails to impress. Masala Dosa was little thick, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled with a perfect potato mixture served with a generous amount of chutney. Masala Dosa is sure to leave a lasting impression. Kesari Bhath also known as Sheera is a sweet treat and never fails to impress with its delightful taste and comforting richness. Ghee added extra taste to the Sheera and that will leave you crave for more. Paid Rs 86/- only and it filled two hungry stomach without hampering the pocket. Address : 1004, 26th Main Rd, 4th T Block East, Jayanagara 9th Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560041

Taaza Thindi is a legend in the Bengaluru food scene, with minimal menu items, and even minimal outlets, they are good in perfecting simple breakfast food. Enroute to ISKON, I stopped by their outlet and picked up plates of Single vada single Idli and ate in the car. The space was overloaded with a crowd that had come down to devour their breakfast items on a Saturday Morning. I just got lucky to avoid a heavy queue that mobbed the billing queue immediately after I collected my plates of food to take it across the street towards family waiting in the car. The food was unapologetically simple, very fresh, of great quality and most importantly extremely tasty. The fluffy idli almost floated in the spicy coconut chutney, and the vada tried to match the perfect of the Idli and it almost did. While I did not have the time or the space to try out other items, the dose looked very inviting and definitely coming back here for another breakfast indulgence.

I personally love this place. Hygiene top notch. They even wear mask after Covid restrictions and the dosa’s are really tasty. Vada is crispy and fresh. Chow chow bath was on point. Literally tried their whole menu in one day. Very clean very tasty and hygiene at its best with the automated dishwasher and the service providers wear a mask. Dosa 10/10 Vada 10/10 Chow chow bath 9/10 Kesari bath 8/10 Hygiene😁 10/10

Great experience overall! The food is delicious, all items in menu are really good and reasonably priced, while maintaining hygiene. The staff was courteous, and the place felt well-maintained. The only improvement would be quicker service for dosa, as it takes bit longer than expected. Still, definitely worth visiting!

Loved the hygiene maintained here. The service is systematic though there's always crowd. Mainly because of the food and the cost. Must visit! P.S - I have experienced slight bloating after eating here quite a few times. Maybe the soda usage.

It's very crowded always. We got here around 10:30am on a Saturday morning, for their idli vada and plain dosa. The dosa was drenched in ghee and still didn't taste good. The idli was good, vada wasn't. Their coffees were lovely, the security guard is really unnecessarily rude imo. Very mid, worth trying once.

Please dont go with family, Poor response from Manager supplier cashier, Most of the dishes are with Salt and if you complain in this with Manager he behaves like a rowdy. They behave with worst speech with ladies. I strongly recommend not to go, A management without control over staffs.
