The food was excellent, I liked starters like barbeque chicken, prawns, fish, biriyani, butter chicken 🍗 masala, but I had some complaints about some food like fish curry no fish pieces, rasam was sweet, and sweets like halwa had no taste and I found some hair in it, so keep this in mind, enjoy your experience.

Longest buffet is false. Very less items in barbeque. Main course also not good, when it comes to desserts it was worst, also kulfi was made using milk powder we can taste that raw milk powder.

I visited The Big Barbeque, Bannerghatta Road for dinner with my guests, and unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. We had booked a table through District App under the name Aditi for two people. Although three of us eventually visited, that was never the main issue. The real disappointment was the overall food quality, service, and staff behavior. 1. Cold Barbeque & Poorly Cooked Starters As soon as we were seated, the barbeque grill placed on our table was barely hot. It wasn’t maintaining the temperature required for a proper barbeque experience. The first round of starters (1 Veg and 2 Non-Veg) arrived, but they were clearly undercooked. The spices tasted raw, and the food wasn’t grilled properly. Since we had arrived around 6:40 PM, almost at opening time, I ignored it initially, assuming the kitchen had just started. Even after requesting twice, the staff finally replaced the grill. This should have been checked before serving customers. 2. Extremely Unprofessional Staff Behaviour What happened next completely ruined our dinner. Around 30 minutes later, the serving staff started repeatedly asking us: “Can we remove the barbeque?” At first, I politely replied that we were still using it and would inform them once we were done. However, they kept asking the same question every 10 minutes. Not once. Not twice. But around 6-7 times. This became extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially because I had invited guests with me. It almost felt as if we were being rushed to leave instead of being treated as valued customers. 3. The Most Disrespectful Part of the Evening After we had almost finished dinner, one staff member came again asking if he could remove the grill. At that point, only two starter sticks were left. I said, “Yes, you can remove it.” Instead of removing it, he suddenly argued with me and said: “No sir, my manager will scold me. You have to eat this.” Before I could even react, he forcibly took the remaining starter sticks and placed them on my plate with his own hands, right in front of my guests. I have honestly never experienced something like this in any restaurant. It wasn’t about two pieces of food. It was about respect. As a customer, I should never be forced to eat something after clearly saying I was done. That moment was extremely insulting and completely unacceptable. I chose not to create a scene because I didn’t want to spoil the evening for my guests. 4. Billing Issue While checking the bill, I noticed that the amount didn’t match what had been shown during my booking on the District App. At the time of booking, the app showed approximately ₹1500 for two people, along with applicable offers. However, the restaurant billed us around ₹2000+ for two non-veg buffets, which didn’t seem consistent with the booking. Although I felt it was unfair, I paid the bill because I didn’t want to argue in front of my guests over a small amount. 5. Food Quality Was Below Expectations As someone who enjoys exploring buffets, I had recently visited both Barbeque Nation and Festa by Barbeque Nation. Compared to them: * Food quality here was noticeably inferior. * Many dishes lacked proper taste and preparation. * Several items advertised in the District App menu were not available during dinner. * The overall buffet spread felt limited and disappointing. People usually choose a restaurant after checking its menu, ratings, and ambience. If many advertised items are unavailable, it creates misleading expectations. Final Thoughts I can ignore small mistakes because every restaurant can have a bad day. But what I cannot ignore is disrespectful customer service. Being repeatedly pressured to remove the barbeque and then having food forced onto my plate in front of my guests was humiliating. Good food can always be improved. But staff attitude and customer respect define the entire experience. Sadly, this restaurant failed on both. I genuinely hope the management invests in proper staff training because no customer should ever leave a restaurant feeling embarrassed instead of satisfied. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend The Big Barbeque to anyone, especially when there are much better alternatives like Barbeque Nation that consistently provide better food, better hospitality, and far more professional service.

Worst food quality and taste. I had gone with my team of 13 members including me. We have to call for the staff everytime to get something for a buffet and had to look for them like atleast 10mins. Not a single person liked a single dish. You can imagine the taste and preparation. Total waste of money and time to return with disappointment. Not recommended at all

Do not eat here! Severe food poisoning.I had dinner here yesterday with a friend and the meat and seafood tasted stale. When I told the waiter, they insisted everything was fresh. Now, both my friend and I have severe stomach pain and diarrhea. I am currently seeing a doctor. This place is a major health hazard. Avoid it!

Low Quality food, smells Stale and very limited Veg choice. Many items listed in the menu were not available, very spicy food. Dirty floor, Unclean sofa and insects/mosquito inside. Needs significant improvements and ambience changeover as well. Not worth the price.

very arrogant Manager. not great service. food quality has gone down. AC didn't work in a particular place despite carrying my baby, requested for high chair but they didnt provide. careless serving behaviour by the servers. overall poor and not at all worth the cost.
