in zomato they mentioned 1600 for two people...when bill came they are asked us to pay 2000+GST for 2 peoples....very disappointed with services and misinformation provided by zomato

Visited Big Barbeque, Marathahalli branch for lunch with friends, and it turned out to be a complete disappointment from start to finish. There was no proper welcome just asked the number of people and shown to the table without any hospitality. Starters were served properly only once; after that, everything felt restricted. For a table of three, we had to repeatedly ask 3–4 times for refills. It felt like they were counting portions instead of serving customers. The prawns were a joke just 2 or sometimes 3 pieces per skewer. Service was extremely poor, with only one main server handling multiple tables. Only after almost 2 hours did another staff member show up. Overall, the staff seemed uninterested and not attentive. Mocktails were below average no proper mixing, no punch, completely flat and disappointing. The main course was very basic and not worth mentioning. The dessert counter was a mess—no plates, bowls, or spoons available. Even after informing the staff, nothing was done. I personally had to approach the supervisor to get things arranged. The ice cream was terribly full of ice crystals, clearly refrozen and not fresh. Even the birthday celebration was poorly handled. We had informed them in advance, but there was no proper coordination. A random song played somewhere far away, and suddenly a supervisor started clapping and said “Happy Birthday.” We didn’t even realize it was meant for us completely awkward and unprofessional. On top of everything, the AC was not maintained at all it was uncomfortable and made the experience worse. Overall, this place feels poorly managed. It honestly seemed like the staff were overworked or not motivated, which clearly reflects in the service. At this rate, it wouldn’t be surprising if this branch shuts down soon. Big Barbeque, Marathahalli is more focused on billing than customer satisfaction. For the price they charge, it’s absolutely not worth it a total waste of money. If there was an option, I would give a -10 rating. Barbeque Nation is far better in terms of service, quality, and overall experience. Highly disappointing.

1/5 – Absolute Disaster. Do NOT go. Not even to your worst enemy. Went to The Big Barbeque in Marathahalli yesterday expecting a proper barbecue buffet experience. What I got was a masterclass in how to completely ruin someone’s evening and waste their hard-earned money. Let’s start with the basics: they had no napkins. None. Zero. You’re eating messy barbecue food with your hands and they can’t even provide something to wipe your fingers? Pathetic. Half the menu was missing. Mutton? Not available. When we asked why, the staff gave the lamest excuse ever: “Quality in the market is not good today.” Brother, if the market quality is so bad that you can’t serve half your items, maybe close the restaurant instead of charging full price for an incomplete buffet? The pizza, pasta, and exotic food counters were a joke — everything looked stuck, dried up, and reheated multiple times. Cold, rubbery, and completely tasteless. The AC was barely working, so the entire place felt like a sauna. On top of that, there was dhua (smoke) everywhere. I don’t know if the exhaust was broken or they were just burning something in the kitchen, but breathing became an optional activity. And the food? Let me save you the suspense — there wasn’t a single dish worth eating. Everything was either undercooked, overcooked, bland, or straight-up off. The mutton that wasn’t available would probably have been better than what they did serve. By the end of it, my evening was completely spoiled. The money felt like it was flushed down the drain. This wasn’t a “bad day” — this was pure negligence and zero standards. I have zero hesitation in saying: I will never come back here, and I wouldn’t recommend The Big Barbeque Marathahalli even to my enemies. Save your time, your money, and your mood — go literally anywhere else. Avoid at all costs.
