The Banana Leaf experience at The Filter Coffee is one of its kind given the quick service concept in an upmarket ambience.. Loved every bit of the food we ordered especially the Ammini Kozhukattai which is a steamed rice ball dough tempered with mustard seeds and coconut shreds and served along side some sweet tamarind sauce.. Also had a pleasant accidental randezevous with Harish Bali Ji of @visa2explore, one of my vlogging role models who happened to be there to grab a cup of Filter Coffee.. that reminds me to mention that there Hazlenut Filter Coffee is a must have Also for dessert had some of the most unique kind of Payasams like one made with Chana Dal another with broken wheat and the third with black rice

the weekend meals are actually good but that’s about it. the service at least in koramangala outlet is not much to be written home about.. good branding cannot bring about a magic fix..

Very expensive. Food quality not good at all. Mini idly was hard. Puri was full of oil. Sambhar was too spicy. Not worth the money and not visiting again.

One of the very few dosa joints of Bangalore which won hearts with an early success, has degraded to a level which cannot be explained in words. Its digital only self service had set the standards to a different level.. Over the last few months the decision to move all Manual has created only chaos, absolute pathetic customer service, low quality food and a massacre of its own brand. I took another chance to visit today with my family hoping things would have been taken under control…. And this is what i got 1. NEVER EVER COMING BACK AND WILL INFORM ALL MY FRIENDS, RELATIVES ARE AWARE THAT THE SHOULD NOT COME BACK AS WELL 2. Took 35 mins between placing order and getting the order, which was punctuated with multiple followups for every little items like spoon, tissues, water, extra stool etc 2. Food served on banana leaf - Not sure why they switched from plates.. maybe a more sustainable option.. but ensuring that the leaves are clean is not in their agenda (attched picture below that shows the amount of dirt that exists in these leafs, which cannot be washed away just by dipping tjose in water)… i mean, cmon - We are not running a freaking cattle farm here.. Show some class @ Owner/Founder 3. Lastly, the founder owner should and must appreciate that this area is highly competitive in a coty like Bangalore. He/she shouldn’t take customer for granted.. de fit not in this digital age. Your own staff members are frustrated, complaining if less workforce, chaotic management and wuality of food. Think and act ASAP

This is a South Indian Restaurant which is serving everything at a premium price. But they get lot of basic stuff wrong. Ambience: its raining and its cold outside. It took us 3-4 requests to get the Blowers off. Some of the Menu options DO NOT MAKE sense. Rava Dosa is there but Rava Masala is not there. But Masala Dosa is not there. Asked for Poori plate at 7:10pm. I was told only available till 7:00pm. But a plate of just 4 poories is available in another section. I asked give the poories and the masala dosa masala and bill for the masala. Still they are unable to do that. I think you need to have some South Indian Staff to understand basic South Indian requirements. Especially when you are pricing the items at a Premium
