The Rameshwaram Cafe might just be one of the most hyped and most polarized resturant on social media in bangalore. Having heard about this place for quiet some time now and being an ardent lover of South Indian food, I made my way to this place as soon as I landed in Bangalore. Before I move ahead, I must warn you that this is an outsiders perspective of their food. Many of local Bangalore friends have found this place pretty average. Me, on the other hand found this place amazing. This outlet of Rameshwaram Cafe is located in JP Nagar and is supposed to the first one. It is a small single shop outlet with limited standing tables. Roadside two wheeler parking available. We visited this place on a weekday, friday afternoon for lunch. The place still had some patrons and we barely found a place for ourself. The ambience is average. Rameshwaram Cafe specializes in serving authentic South Indian food. We ordered Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa, Ghee Pudi Idli, Open Khali Dosa, Udid Wada and Filter Coffee. I will start with my favorate, the Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa. It was a revealation for me. The best. The texture of the dosa itself was amazing. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sambar and chutney also hit the right spot. Amazing. The Ghee Pudi Idli was really great as well. The Pudi on the top mixed with ghee elevated it to another level. The Open Khali Dosa and Udid Wada were good as well. The Filter Coffee was good. The staff is polite. This is a self service outlet. Good quality and quantity. Prices slightly on the higher side, considering this to be a self service outlet. Would definately love to visit this place again.

Worth the hype. One of the best south indian restaurant in Bengaluru. Offers classical food with slight difference and maintaining high standards in taste. With all the queue it seems like a factory operating. But definitely worth the wait. Would like to explore more next time. The brand has everything to create a landmark for itself. Like if you are visiting Bangalore, you must try this everytime. All the best team.

If I were to describe this place in 1 word, it would be “Overhyped”. The food was pretty average, most probably paid influencers to make it popular. All I can taste was butter in all the dosas and idlis, no other memorable flavours. I would prefer to go to other more economical places with better authentic taste over this.

Food is okay but not great or extraordinary! Tons of ghee on dose and idli. Far from South Indian cuisine authenticity. Also, over priced for a self service restaurant. Taste and quality was also compromised during weekend. Purely over hyped place!

This place is charging you 4star rates & the Ambiance, facilities, Cutlery & other basic amenities are 1 star. Also the parcel charges are equivalent to the food cost & they are using the same black plastic containers which every one else is using. I should mention though, that the food taste is good, But There are way better places in Bangalore to eat than wasting your hard earned money here. This is not Rameshwaram by Taj or ITC Welcome group, serving us on 5th Avenue or Oxford street kind of real estate in Bangalore. Pathetic crowded space with no parking and long queues & delayed service with practically no seating and washroom facilities.

Great for tourists, definitely not for locals. Seeing the crowd, we were confident the food would to be top tier, it was as mid as it gets. Tried their garlic roast dosa - 1/5- SOOOO MUCH GHEE yet SUCH LITTLE FLAVOUR. It made us nauseous, with the overload of fat, and quite sad that this level of fat also couldn't bring the dosa any flavour. Their paddu again, SO MUCH GHEE AND SUCH LITTLE FLAVOUR. Gongura rice, again, nothing to rave about, so so mid. Drinks were nice, rose milk & mosambi juice. Service? Meh. Ambience? Meh. Totally skippable.

Absolutely shit place, and even worse management. They don’t serve Jain food on weekends. I drove 10 kms to this destination only to know they don’t serve Jain food on weekends. To which I asked why is it on the menu and they said they can’t remove it frequently - meaning waste of my time is casually accepted. Didn’t even offer help or customised the order as I requested. Big branch and brand but poor customer experience!

I showed up at Rameshwaram JP nagar at 1:47 after checking it's opening timings which was till 2:30 but it was closed and they practically shooed us out of there. Wasted my time and my money to come here and leaving here disappointed, angry and hungry.
