I had the best time at the white room. They had such a fun vibe. The staff were very welcoming, polite and jolly. 10/10 recommend this place.

💥Featured: THE WHITE ROOM COFFEE AND KITCHEN, located at church street, Bangalore 💥Food : There is most of the usual cafe fare on the menu, but I'm sure the breakfast must be to die for . Possibly a brunch should cut it next time around. 💥Highlights: 1. The Ambience is Classy and Chic and very old school, royal old Bangalore kinda 2. Well Spaced out outdoor seating amidst nature , very quiet and peaceful , one would forget they are bang in the middle of a bursting church street , really!! 3. Style tip: Wear white 🤍🤍

Ambiance: The White Room, nestled in the heart of Church Street, offers a serene ambiance that stands out amidst the hustle and bustle of Bangalore. With its all-white interiors, it exudes an English charm, reminiscent of a Mediterranean laid-back vibe. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, the decor is tastefully done, making it an ideal spot for a quiet brunch or a relaxed evening. Menu & Food: The menu boasts a variety of cafe-style dishes, with some patrons praising the breakfast options and teas. While some dishes like the roasted red pepper soup and roasted chicken wrap received positive feedback, others like the hummus and babaganoush were found to be lacking in flavor. The pita bread, however, was soft and well-prepared. The vegetable winter pie was a unique choice for some, but the dessert options seemed to be hit or miss. Service: While the ambiance invites guests to relax and savor their food, the service, unfortunately, doesn't always match up. Several visitors noted slow service, and the continuous movement of the kitchen staff can be a bit distracting, especially for those seated outside. Hygiene Concerns: A significant concern raised was the hygiene of the cafe. Observations of rats running around and a fly in one of the drinks are alarming. It's evident that the cafe needs to prioritize pest control and ensure a clean environment for its patrons. Location & Seating: Its location on Church Street makes it easily accessible, and the outdoor seating is a bonus, especially given Bangalore's pleasant weather. However, despite reservations, some guests had to wait for their seats, indicating a possible need for better reservation management. Value for Money: The pricing seems reasonable for the quantity and quality of food served. However, the taste and presentation need to be consistent to justify the cost. Conclusion: The White Room offers a beautiful setting for a relaxed dining experience. While the ambiance and decor are undoubtedly its strong points, there's room for improvement in food quality, service, and hygiene. It's a place with potential, and with a few tweaks, it could live up to its reputation as one of Bangalore's best cafes. Swati Mishra @thetravellinfork

Had a meeting at the white room today and we were shocked beyond words by the prices! So this isn't the first time we have gone there but there seems to be an insane surge in the prices of everything. Since we have gone here before, we did not pay much attention to the menu and just ordered our coffees and snacks... Cold coffees priced around Rs.300, Lasagna (veg) around - Rs.500 A quarter plate sized chicken pie- Rs.500 The shocker of all, a single slice of cheesecake - Rs.500. We told the waiter we just had one slice of cake and he said that's the price.. 🤢😑😑 As I now check the prices on ZOMATO, everything seems to be increased by almost 150rs (like the lasagna is priced at 350 on their Zomato Listing) Its not like i haven't been to expensive places, but this place is not a 5 star or a fine dining one😅 but the prices are just shocking.

I remember coming to this place before it went into renovation and thinking this has been a good experience, this would be my go to cafe at Church Street. Cut to yesterday, where the drinks as well as the food felt just falling average in taste. Though the quantity was definitely more per serving, it didn't quite deliver to the experience I had before. I don't know what changed there, but my perception certainly did.

The starters were good as well as the milkshakes but the beef lasagna was such a disappointment. Didn't have enough layers and was way to overpriced for a small portion like that. The ambience is nice and classy but the main course foods needs improvement.

Three of us visited this place on a Sunday. Can't stress on how bad the food was - we had ordered the following: 1) Pink panther pasta (penne + veggies): taste-wise would give it 3/10 2) Cottage cheese fritters: very basic recipe but yet very very average in taste 3) Mac n cheese: the only more than decent item in the menu. Would give it 7/10 4) Nutella shake: pathetic - my eight year old nephew can do a much better job (P. S. He does not have amazing cooking skills) 5) Cottage cheese n bell paper pizza: It was so bad that we had left our three slices (one each) and got the rest packed and to eventually give it to the needy - minus 1/10 6) Cream of broccoli - tired of typing hate here - just to call it out in a word - BAD!! Worst INR 3,314 (including packing charges for the pizza and some pasta) spent ever. PS: We went to 99 dosa shop (located next to Starbucks near Trinity Church to share a wonderful dosa. Loved it.
