A trip back to my hometown is always a hunt for nostalgia. I'm usually craving the flavors of my childhood, not a fine-dining revelation. But on my last visit, word of a pop up called Tijouri which promised elevated home cooking —piqued my curiosity. What I didn't expect was for it to be one of the most memorable meals I've had all year, centered around an audacious and brilliant whiskey tasting. It wasn't just a meal; it was an experience. I would definitely go back for another experience at Tijouri.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Felt like eating at someone’s home – but fancier!” Tijouri is such a hidden gem! The whole vibe is warm and cozy, with brass plates and that old-school Indian charm. I went for their Onam Sadhya and honestly the Avial and Pineapple Pachadi were just perfect. You can taste that everything’s made with love. Definitely coming back for their next pop-up! @⁨Rekha Datla⁩

“A vibe you won’t find anywhere else in Bangalore” Went here for dinner with friends and ended up staying way longer than planned. The space has such a cozy, inviting feel, soft lighting, brass accents, and great music. The Chicken Pallipalayam was my absolute favorite, spicy, crunchy, and bursting with flavour. Perfect place to unwind over good food and better company!

Have been for several pop ups at Tijori. We most recently went for a Sri Lankan food pop up, with food that was out of this world. Some of the dishes were inspired by Sri Lankan tribal food- something I never thought I'd experience. Coupled with the great service and ambience (each dish had an interesting backstory), this was an experience I'd repeat many times!

been here a few times. very unique concept and fantastic food. it's like eating outside with a touch of homeliness. portions are large, ambience is nice and most importantly the guest chefs and the owners of the restaurant are great hosts. I look forward to newer pop ups here :)

Love this place for all the pop ups they do. Getting to have different food from across India in Bangalore is definitely amazing. The mutton goli chaat was definitely the best dish they have had.

Been here a few times now and can't wait to go back again! Fantastic food - delicacies from various parts of India that feel home made. The qual egg panniyyaram is a must try!

Tijouri, meaning “Treasury,” truly lives up to its name as a treasure trove of exceptional flavors. Currently, they are offering an exclusive Iftaar Feast, a delightful celebration of rich and royal Awadhi cuisine, just in time for the upcoming festive spirit of Ramzan and Holi. This culinary experience is brought to life by Chef Gul Ali from Lucknow, whose expertise in Awadhi cooking will transport you straight to the heart of this regal culinary tradition. The ambiance of the pop-up restaurant is as special as the food itself. With only 24 carefully selected seats, the intimate setting exudes elegance and charm, enhanced by thoughtful décor. A standout feature was the large globe adorned with an algae plant—a perfect touch to the venue’s atmosphere. As for the menu, it is a feast for the senses, starting with: • Welcome Drink: Muhabat ka Sharabat • Amuse Bouche: Fruity Punch For starters, you’ll be treated to a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights: • Veg Starters: Dum Aloo Pakora, Mushroom Galauti • Non-Veg Starters: Chicken Samosa, Galouti Mutton, Shami Kebab The mains are hearty and full of flavor, including: • Haleem • Mutton Biryani which is my favourite • Kathal Biryani a feast for vegetarians And to end the meal on a sweet note: • Desserts: Shahi Tukda, Maquti This limited-time Iftaar Feast is available only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and you can choose from two convenient time slots: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM or 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Be sure to make a reservation and embark on this unforgettable culinary journey! Muddappa’s Thermometer 🌡️ : Ambiance: 9/10 Location: 9/10 Food: 9.5/10 Staff: 9.5/10
