i love this place for its quiet beauty, ambience and yummy food...you would not expect such a place to exist in the hustle n bustle of ulsoor but it does and its such a warm n cozy place...nit to mention my dogs love it too...waiting to come back again! P.S - a spl mention to the staff and the owner who just elevate the dining experience with their service!!

Amazing place , really love the calm and homely vibe of this place.. i visit this gem of a place often as it has now become my go to comfort.. service is satisfactory and the staff are very polite and genuine .. would definitely rate this place a 10/10. Do visit with friends , family and even solo

Went here on a rainy Sunday evening slightly unwell - Uncles warm soup, handmade pizza and homely service definitely nursed me back to health Fully recommend for anyone looking for a piece of home in a strange city

A couple of friends and I stumbled upon Urban Solace. Not because we are the adventurous, life-is-a-culinary-journey types, but because the Google reviews promised a sweet spot of perfection, conveniently located within limping distance. The vibe is trying really hard to be “old Goan bungalow” and it kind of works. Picture a cute little house chopped into mismatched seating areas, some shelves of books to prove it’s quirky, and a view of the Ulsoor Lake. Naturally, we chose the terrace because views, empty tables, and the hope that breakfast would match the vibes. They had some English breakfast promo with a photo so mouthwatering it should’ve come with a disclaimer: “Breakfast may not resemble this image.” Two options: “traditional” and “special.” We asked the staff about the difference. They couldn't explain the difference. Apparently, we were supposed to intuit the distinction based on vague descriptions and the number of egg preparations available. One friend decided to skip the drama and ordered a Spanish omelette with extra veggies. And then, the beverage journey began. The breakfast, you see, comes with a fruit juice, which, to be clear, is not a "juice," but rather a "canned liquid." I asked if it could be swapped for something else. A helpful waiter said yes, and we happily ordered a masala chai and a black coffee. A minute later, a second, equally helpful waiter appeared to inform us that masala chai was an unacceptable substitute. Fine, we swapped it for another black coffee. Then the first waiter came back and said, “Actually, black coffee can’t be a substitute either.” At this point, we were expecting the UN negotiation team to step in. Finally, after some internal kitchen diplomacy they made an exception for us. Two coffees, one chai, victory snatched from the jaws of chaos. When it finally arrived, the breakfast was… fine. We chose a masala omelette, got some chicken sausages, and a single dumpling spoon of baked beans. Literally a spoon! Like someone in the kitchen was rationing it for a zombie apocalypse. There was also toast, butter, and jam. But the spoon of baked beans is not a side dish; it's a taunt. Oh, and we ordered bacon on the side (not a part of the breakfast), which simply didn’t arrive the first time. We asked again, and when it finally showed up, it was limp. Sent it back for a crispier redo and it returned half-burnt and still somehow floppy. Overall verdict: Taste? Meh. Vibe? Cute but overrated. Worth a revisit for their hyped pizzas and burgers? Maybe, but probably not. In hindsight, I should’ve just cooked eggs at home, saved the cash, and spared myself this mildly tragic breakfast saga. Before leaving we did ask the waiter about the breakfast picture on the wall. He casually told us, not in these exact words but the same sentiment; "that’s just for the picture because it looks good, no?"
