I am thankful to Zomato for including this place on my request :) Thank you,Harnoor I was itching to write a review for this place and my wish comes true today :D Let me begin ... Utsav is a joint located on the Main Katriguppe road, beside Anand Bhavan.,katriguppe .. a little further from the 43A bus stop..Residents here will be familiar but this place is not too difficult to locate either for a non katriguppe resident... if you travel along the main road from vidyapeeta circle towards Big bazar, you will find anand bhavan onto your right and beside that you can find Utsav, just the cross road before Anand Bhavan This is a pure VEG joint opened On all days and timings : 7am to 10 PM... He is literally doing social service to all the bachelors out there who depend on outside food by providing the most quality .tasty food at such cheap rates which I have never witnessed in any other place.. . Its an absolute steal here with regards to the pricing... Breakfast starts from 7am and the menu includes poori Sagu, aloo, gobi, paneer, onion, mix veg paranthas with channa subzi, chole batura, kharabath ( these items are available in the afternoons too ) For lunch , the paranthas still continue, you have chapatis being served at Rs.4/- , one big parantha for 20/-, three pooris and sagu for 35/-. , you have a thali coming at just flat 35/- :) which includes two chapatis, two subzis, one dal, one full big cup of rice, papad and curd... the subzis are one of a kind with the unique blend of masalas in them..the typical north indian curry flavor..each day he prepares a minimum of four curries (out of which a paneer curry is a must ) The subzis cost 15/- per 100 gms and they give you in large quantities...The curry types could range from Dry curries like aloo dry, aloo methi dry, aloo gobi dry, Cabbage, mix veg, capsicum et al... The gravies include paneer butter masala, mutter paneer , peas masala, rajma, chole et al Two chapatis + 1 subzi will cost you only Rs.20/- !!! The same pattern is applicable to dinner as well but with different subzis.. Now... wait for the snacks to be smacked to spice up your evenings... The menu goes like this a. Masala Puri : 20 b. Sev Puri : 20 c. Kachori : 10 d. Samosa : 10 e. Vada Pav -15 f. Momos - 5/- per piece g. Jilebi - 5/- per piece and I guarantee you these are the best jilebis your taste buds would have ever experienced h. Mirchi Bhajji - 5/- per piece You also have jamoons, rasgullas also priced at 10/- per piece.. they also offer tea, thandaai ,mango milkshake, masala chai, amras all n the range of 10/- to 25/- There is no compromise on the taste, quality and hygiene.. The dough, the masalas are all prepared fresh and nothing is stale.. He undertakes catering orders for your get togethers, parties et all.. He also delivers hot food to your college hostel, bachelor room or your work place too ! ( but yea,the order should be for 5 heads at least ) Please contact Sanjeev on +91 9632695401 for any of your needs and I assure you.. you will never be disappointed with this place.. And yes there are three tables with around 15 chairs... you have a television too to get rid of the boredom :) but plz don't expect a hi-fi ambience... Food : 5/5 Quality : 5/5 I surely recommend this place to taste the food at-least once and the taste's gonna linger there for sometime.. Utsav , thanks for waning my hunger pangs everyday ! :)

Just one word to describe, "Awesome". Had got samosa a couple of times previous for my son, so did not have any opportunity to taste. Today happened to be for all. Got samosa, vada pav, jalebi and sattu kachori. The kachori was just yumm and was the star of the day, samosas were great with good filling. The chutney is the one which tastes special compared to other joints. Vada pav was good, the bread could have been a bit softer. The hot jalebi is also quite different from other joints and was crisp on the outside and soft on the insides. Overall a very good snack time today. A big thumbs up for this place. Going back to relish parantha soon.

One of the best place to try usual South Indian dishes. Be it Dosa, Idly or vada their  taste is too good and everything is quite pocket friendly. They do offer North Indian & Chinese cuisines as well with take away facility. Location is BDA Complex market  Koramangala. Must try place when it comes to street food around Koramangala.

To be frank, after seeing such great review of {uid:192551} I thought she must be an invester for this restaurant (lol) when I paid a visit to this restaurant yesterday, every word of her turned out to be true! Special thanks to her for introducing such great place. Yes! It's unbelievably cheap and extraordinary in taste. So far the best paratha of my life time was of Kanpur's "South Star Hotel". But this has set a new benchmark. We ordered aloo & paneer parathas, both were extremely good. Along with that we bought 2 samosas which was good and tasted just like Banaras's Samosa. Ambience is not at all good, staffs are not experienced (as they served both parathas in one plate for two people), tables were not cleaned. But Aal izz well for the taste. You can see many bachelors & students hanging out there for dinner, I think they won't have all parathas available in the menu daily. So, instead of going for menu just ask them what's available. If you don't like ambience opt for parcel/take away option.

After reading all the praises about this place on Zomato, had to visit it. Utsav is situated right next to A2B so it's pretty easy to find. We ordered Gobhi n Paneer paranta and jeera rice .. Simple and tasty food.. Felt like home cooked meal.. We ordered dal and panner sabzi. For the cost, I was very happy with the price n quantity. Samosa here is some I would recommend everyone to try out. The crust is flaky and it's usually super fresh. On the down side, the lassi was a disappointment. That being said, the overall experience was great and the best part is, all this just for 150 rs. Looking forward to try the momos next time. Will be going back :)

This review has been long due. It is hard to imagine I was unaware of this place though I lived in the area all my life. I do remember my grandfather used to visit the place to have samosas once in a while but never really thought about it until a friend brought it to my notice. It is a small unassuming little place with just a table or two. If you only love fine dine or clean tiles, then you probably wouldn't give it a second look. But do look again for its menu on the white board is what is most interesting. Dal roti curry rice combos at around 25 30 bucks, momos at 5 bucks apiece, samosas at the same price and what's more, the quality is just great. It isn't a 5star my friend, but it is heartwarming, tummy filling and that place you go to to feel like you are having home food even if your parents are away or its the end of month are you aren't able to afford a Big Mac. I never used to have momos, and this place changed that for me. Try the pani puri guy outside, he's one of a kind in this area.
