VB Bakery is probably the first of its kind in Bangalore, and will always be a cherished place for some great snacks. It's easy to spot, at the entrance to VV Puram Food street. Love the khara bun congress, the most famous and hot selling snack here. The dumroot and puffs are super tasty too! The cakes are on the sweeter side, not their best offering for sure. The fact that the quality has been consistently good throughout sets this little bakery apart. Highly recommend when in Bangalore!

You will find this bakery right at the beginning of the VV Puram street .So whenever we visit VVpuram we start our food walk with this bakery . They have variety of savouries and bakery items Our personal favorite are nippat bun(bun filled with masala peanuts). Creme Pattice (Pattice with creme on it) And the best best of everything is the domrut halwa which is available only on Tue or Sunday

1. Fruit Cake - The cake was soft and rich in flavor. It has taste of tutty-fruity and bit high on sweeter side. 2. Kashi halwa|Dumroot |Boodukumbalakayi halwa😋 - It is a traditional sweet dish prepared using ash gourd or winter melon. A yellow colour gooey pudding made of bread crumbs which had unique taste of butter and khova ( caramelized milk crumbles). 3. Honey Cake - A spongy moist cake which is high on sweetness and has crispy coconut shreds. The sponge was dense and of good quality. 4. Coconut cookies - Crispy, buttery and has decent amount of coconut shreds. If you want more buttery cookie then go to OG Varier bakery. 5. Jeera cookie - Bit high on salt and mild spicy. Has cumin in it 6. Sweet Biscuit - Nothing special. Crispy and has sweet taste of sugar 7. Salt Biscuit - Salty and crispy. A Hyderabadi Osmania biscuit of Subhan Bakery could be a better try. 🗣️ Recommendations to the restaurant 🗣️ 1. Improve hygiene at your place and it needs a makeover. 2. Root out all artificial ingredients and switch to old practices of using traditional chemical free ingredients. 3. Avoid non-biodegradables like plastic styrofoam. It's killing our earth 4. Keep alternative to sugar like jaggery, stevia

This is a very iconic bakery and definitely it has a very good variety of products but I like their congress bun which tastes very fresh when tasted there , but wasn't a fan of the cake. It tasted little not normal

I have been going to VB Bakery for many years. Even after shifting to Whitefield, I make it a point to visit them whenever I am in that part of town. Visited a couple of days back and I was extremely disappointed by the behaviour of the staff. Just because my old mother happened to ask the same question 2-3 times (if the bread on the counter was garlic bread or normal bread), the guy manning the counter very rudely shouted at her to stop repeating the questions. Some of the other staff noticed but didn't bat an eyelid. We didn't want to create a scene. We bought what we wanted to and left. In hindsight, we should neither have bought anything nor kept silent! We didn't ask food for free, we didn't skip ahead of a queue, we weren't talking on our phones but still!!! Regardless of their fame and faithful fan following, they still need their customers and not the other way around! Quite conveniently, they have forgotten that they became a brand in the first place through good food and service. I am super disappointed by their attitude. I won't be going back to their shop for sure. I hope they get their act together. Else, there will be other establishments more than capable and willing to take their spot!

It's a shame to it's name. I will never recommend this bakery to anyone, it's not always about the food taste but it what matters is also the hospitality that is provided because it's one of the most important element in food industry. They are so arrogant that they treat like a dog, literally rude on your face while purchasing items. You sometimes feel that you are doing a favor by buying items. When I had visited and asked for the butter bun and other items they told me that I need to be prepared before even taking them otherwise they will walk out from your face and the owner is sitting there will enjoy the last laugh of the show happening. I wonder how others are eating or evening purchasing there for so long.

Rowdies and hooligans running the bakery. Please avoid visiting this bakery. It has lost the charm, taste and all things to run a good bakery. The so called workers call customers without respect. This place is doomed to be closed like its sibling Butter Sponge. No wonder it is on path to be closed sucessfully by its employess.
